And more of my randomly drawn sketches, inspired by various things. ~ Dark Queen
^ Anime Brunette Girl ^ This was drawn in biro, and redrawn countless times until I liked it. I then scanned it, and cleaned and coloured it in Photoshop 7. One of the few pieces I like. ^.^ (Inspired by a shot of Kirika from one of the later episodes of Noir. 20 or 21 I think...)
^ Angel-Devil Hybrid Of Some Sort (Maybe... I have no idea) ^ Another one drawn in biro many many times, but as I have no scanner right now, she was traced tidily and coloured by hand (all in ink pen). And another one I actually like. ^.^
^ A Different Angel-Devil Hybrid Thingy... (A Guy This Time) ^ Again, drawn in biro, redrawn once, photoed, imported into Photoshop, and coloured. (Took abour 12 hours altogether. >.<) Kinda pleased with how this one turned out in the end. ^.^ Oh, and thanks to Swordy and Trouty for putting up with me nagging for help, hehe.
^ That guy again ^ Aaand again... Drawn in biro, taking up the vast total of 12 sheets of a4 paper, taped together (yes, it's true, and I still have the photo of that original drawing that I used to do this one, if you don't believe me...), photoed, imported into Photoshop, and coloured. And it took daaaays! And it looked better than I expected in the end, but I don't like one of the wings... *pokes it with a stick* *gets glared at by One* *squeaks* Sorry! *hem*
^ People in Blankets (not pigs) ~ Inspired by VPM art ^ Bet you can guess what I used to draw this... Yep. Biro. Originally drawn as a plain copy of the original art (I'll upload that at some point if I can be bothered - and no I don't know where I saw the pic I copied... Search for "Anime, Larva" in an image search and you'll find it). It was then redrawn as this. And as I liked it better than my original, and Trouty went mad over it the second she saw it, I photographed it and here it is... (Eek, I'm getting wordy...lol) Edit: Updated this pic cos the colours went wrong (Geocities being odd I guess) and I didn't want the girl who requested it to get hissy about it.
^ Jarnseaxa and Elfgift (the cover of "Elfgift" by Susan Price, as redrawn by me) ^ Yep, drawn in biro. First just Jarnseaxa, then redrawn to include Elfgift (it was easier that way), photoed, Photoshop-coloured. Did it in an afternoon, lol. It's not really how I imagine those characters, it's just how they turned out when I tried to draw the book-cover anime-style.
^ Rothiel & Tenethir ^ Spot the recurring theme on this page... How many pics have I drawn from that angle? I need to find a new one... Anyway. This is two of the three main characters in my latest story (all vampires, I might add). Drawn in biro, photoed and PSed. The pic was originally drawn for a different scene in another story, and has nothing whatsoever to do with this one... However, I like how it came out, and it's here for you to go 'uuueeeggghh' at.
^ Tenethir ^ Oh and here he is again, my elf-vampire dude. I only kinda liked the sketch of this, but Trouty liked it and demanded that I colour it... (*glare*) Having coloured it, I actually shaded it properly for once. Drawn in biro, photoed, PSed. Took two days. Worth it? Not sure... He seems to be popular though. Got glomped within 10 mins of being finished... The white text at the top if lyrics from 45 by Shinedown.
^ 'In Dreams' ^ Erm, yes... Old pic I found about an hour after updating. *growls* I'm guessing I drew it in biro, photoed it, and PSed it... The guy (who isn't see through) is dreaming of the girl (who is). Inspired by one of the tracks on the Fellowship of the Ring soundtrack (2001). Very similar to Rothiel & Tenethir, I probably used the sketch of this as the base for it... Ah well. The text at the bottom is lyrics from that track, and reads: 'But in dreams, / I still hear your name, / And in dreams, / We will meet again...' Edit: Updated this one too. Coloured it on my laptop, and he had brown hair... You get it on any other PC and it looks like bright red... So, he had a bit of a makeover. (And it's still out of proportion *glare* and not hte colours it's meant to be.)
