Gazing at the cosmic diamond
The reason why oneness seems so threating to some religions...Is because we haven't made the effort to contemplate and fully understand this ultimate concept, being, or reality we label "God". A good question is: can God create a rock so heavy that he could not lift it? If you were to say yes, you are limiting his power by saying he couldnt lift it, but If you were to say no...Again you are limiting his power by saying he couldn't possibly make a rock that heavy. To answer this question you need to transcend the idea that God actually has a form, or that he has a body, or that he is separate from creation...So the answer is:....What a stupid question! Because he transcends the notion that he could actually lift a rock, because he exists within, outside, above and through all creation...He exists in oneness(at the quantum level we are all one), the vacuum, David Bohms implicate order and explicate order, in formlessness and form etc. He is not one of these things but all of them, for they came from him, and he unifies and transcends them...
The fact that God wasnt created although he exists is increadibly disturbing for me and sends chills up my spine...It makes living, or existing so much more profound and amazing if you could understand this concept...Who says their has to be potential for something before something...Why not empty emptyness rather than abundant emptyness with infinite potential for something? Why not just potential for nothing?
"When a foolish man hears of the Tao,
he laughs out loud.
If he didn't laugh,
it wouldn't be the Tao."
If God wasnt so confusing, egnigmatic, completely crazy and beyond us... he wouldnt be God.
We cant accurately depict God because we are in the world of differentiation, a world of form. But God is Unified oneness. He is whole.
From the tao te ching-
"Since before time and space were,
the Tao is.
It is beyond is and is not."
He existed before existence, thus before the duality of existence and non-existence(is and is not).
Who knows, The nothingness below zero point may be the Tao!?
Their is a seething cauldron, a turbulent sea of particles appearing out of no where and exploding back to non-existence and nothing...But obviously, nothing does contain something...When a particle dissolves back into non-existence in zero point, I think its like a drop in the ocean; the drop ceases to be a drop and dissapates into the unified essence of the whole. This nothing, is eternally abundant EVERYTHING but in its WHOLE state. Because we can only percieve and measure duality, the particle seems to disapear.
"Each separate being in the universe
returns to the common source.
Returning to the source is serenity."
Our source is oneness, in Zero point particles are formed to only return...We will be returning to oneness as well. Returning is to be embraced by infinite all consuming love and bliss. It is indeed serenity.
"There was something formless and perfect
before the universe was born.
It is serene. Empty.
Solitary. Unchanging.
Infinite. Eternally present.
It is the mother of the universe.
For lack of a better name,
I call it the Tao."
You can call it God, you could call it Yahweh, you could call it Brahman, you could call it beeboolala, for it existed before differentiation thus before the need for names. The perfect name for it, is "perfect"... Because the definition of perfect is; Lacking nothing essential to the whole; complete of its nature or kind.
"It flows through all things,
inside and outside, and returns
to the origin of all things."
Kind of sounds like the Romans 11:36- "For from him and through him and to him are all things" doesnt it?
Taoism doesn't contradict anything in christianity;it is complementary if you allow yourself to accept it.
Its not evil, but its not much of a religion either. Just a philosophy and a way of living based on wonder, contemplation, admiration and reverence for God and his oneness...not deception.
"The personality of God, as it is generally conceived is again a one-dimensional concept based upon man's small knowledge of his own psychology. What you prefer to think of as God is basically and above all, indeed as I have said, an infinite energy gestalt: or pyramid consciousness."- Seth, channelled information.
Thats incredibly right. Most people think of God in such simple terms when their is infinitely more to "it" and "its" nature.
Our conceptions of God should changed from this:
To something more appropriate and applicable for his divine, egnigmatic, multi-dimensional being:
But even that is inaccurate, and is depicting more of the totallity of its creation rather than God itself. If you want an accurate mental picture of God think of this:
Complete oneness, whole and void...this is zen.
Together the second and third pictures exist side by side(creation, God)...Although the second picture is just an illusion, and the third is all that exists (as if the second picture is just depicting the complexity of Gods thought as he imagines creation). Sentient oneness is all that exists... Conscious nothingness is his true nature outside his thought process.
While I was discussing God to someone, she had brought up a cool concept; sabrina said "God is thought. The universe is only an atmosphere for God to think."
I thought that was incredibly unique and creative, but more correctly, the universe is thought, and he is the atmosphere for himself to project his thoughts(which are also him)...because nothing exists other than himself!
See how wierd this gets?!
The universe is a hologram

God's Game
Is God the only ONE? It is truely a bizarre concept...
When discussing the cosmo's, the divine plan and pattern of this unified essence; this incomprehencable reality, this multifaceted, Brilliant and magnificient egnigmatic being we call "God"...We must elevate our awareness, take on the perspective of one looking down...So that we could see all aspects, truths, locations, planets, all forms of life, galaxies, universes, dimensions, planes of existence all as a unified whole, to see the cosmic diamond in its totality. Their are photons, membranes, hidden dimensions, particles, waves, spirals, implosions, explosions...This universe is more elegant than we could have ever imagined without our current tools and methods of finding such things...And I'm definitely sure that their is more to this universe than what I just listed, because the universe is still continuing to baffle us, even with math and technology scientists are still in wonder and confusion. Paradigms have changed, and the current paradigms will inevitably have to change as well.
