| We live on the surface of a vast ocean of pure existence. Much like the perspective of a wave sweeping across the surface would perceive itself as separate from other waves; we perceive ourselves as separate from others. We move through life without direction, absorbed within our illusions, we encounter others and touch each others lives as we mesh and combine; creating relationships. Soon we find a perfect match and combine with that certain someone. We seem to radiate with the addition of energy...receiving an intangible, but totally filling feeling. We feel love, bliss and happiness...Every positive emotion comes from the quenching of our thirst for oneness. Our every unconscious and cosmic goal is to end our separation and be united. Because of our limited awareness, we pursue ending separation with a relationship with someone else. But the only thing that could give you what your looking yearning for is God. How can so many bad things happen if God is all that exists? Buddha asked the very same question. He devoted all his energy and efforts to the contemplation of the human condition, why we suffer, and how we could avoid it. Buddhism is really a religion based on psychotherapy rather than metaphysics...Dedicated solely for the escape of the cycle of pain and suffering. Not only can we rise above all negativity, but we find our awareness elevated and entrained to the frequency from which all came; The frequency shining through all creation as if they were transparent, permeating all that ever existed and exists presently into one radiant oneness. Unifying all in the midst of this ever present light. As Buddha sat in deep meditation under the famous Bodhi Tree, considered the tree of enlightenment, a concept had been grasped by his unconscious and reverberated throughout his being...He suddenly knew the solution to all problems in one instantaneous mental flash. He taught that the natural assumption of ego is false. That ego is just another form of maya (or illusion), a mental concept which has no reality. Duhkha which is represented for human suffering comes from our difficulty of facing the fact that nothing is permanent. Every thing that we mentally grab onto will inevitably bring us suffering. We hold on to our ego, and from our inability to let go, we suffer. We get offended, we get mad, we get sad, we get arrogant, we get separation from God. In the Bible, Jesus informs us of the necessary death of the flesh and the rebirth into purity and spirit. The concept of our souls being beyond ego, into the world of unity is never spoken of in Christianity. Teachings such as humbleness being favored by the Lord or that we need to "deny ourselves" before the Father imply that something within us is needs to be shed and forgotten. Christians regard this rebirth as symbolic, the transformation of a sinful man; bound by the shakels of sin and temptation to a person empowered by Christ in which he can find refuge and strength to overcome all obstacles. But in eastern relgion this transformation is a real, biological and psychological process in which the subject drops all illusion of separation, slowly losing its identification as an isolated ego separate from God and thus dying; to be re-integrated with with higher energies of God and reborn as spirit. Such a process could take a whole life time if needed, accumulating years of dedication and pain as one humbles oneself before the creator to reach an eventual point when one is reduced to nothing. And when this happens the person realizes the unity of all creation and the importance of love...love is the force that parallels unity, why would one feel anything other than love for himself? Why would God hate himself? Jesus said, "Be perfect as your Father in heaven is perfect" In the Christian community, spiritual perfection just seems impossible, hopeless, surpassing way beyond what sinful humans are capable of. Because of the ignorance of this concept, (that maybe spiritual rebirth is a REAL process) and the collective reluctance to accept other things from other religions; Christians are inevitably spiritually suspended, never passing a certain point. They will continue to battle temptation, the confusion of what God wants, if he can provide and when he can provide will never stop. Questions such as "Is he listening, why haven't I received an answer?" will always remain in our minds untill we are willing to transcend to higher levels of spiritual awareness. Although our awareness is presently constrained to only perceive what is in the physical...If we would allow ourselves; we would be able to see into the realms of the spiritual. In a paper presented by Professor John Wilson of the African Institute of London University, he describes an experiment in which the members of a primitive African village would watch a film intended to teach them methods of sanitation. To his surprise, not one of them was able to SEE it. When questioned, they recalled nothing as if they were being presented something that didn't exist, and the whole time they were staring at the wall. The one question they were all able to answer involved a chicken, which had some spiritual significance in the village. Wilson concludes that "the fowl was the one bit of reality for them." In 1972 Werner Heisenberg presented his famous Uncertainty principle, which would become the first step of merging physics into the scientifically forbidden territory of mysticism. Heisenberg claimed that the observer alters the observed by the mere act of observation. The most paradigm shifting belief in modern science that most physicists now accept is that consciousness does play a role in the physical universe. Because of the illogical nature of quantum particles during experiments; physicists have no choice but to acknowledge some sort of force that causes the results to always end up different. This force is exerted whenever we observe the experiment. The outcome on any experiment no longer functions solely on the “laws” of the physical world, but also upon the consciousness of the observer. Wheeler suggests we must replace the term “observer” with the term “participator”. Tantric documents propose that there is actually no ultimate division between consciousness and reality. Both tibetan and Hindu mysticism parallel the world view of modern quantum physics...The famous E=MC2 depicts that matter and energy are manifestations of the same thing, just different states of energy. Matter is just highly condensed energy. This same view was held by the ancient Tantrists; except they regarded matter as condensed energy of chit, or consciousness itself. A passage in the Mundaka Upanishad says: "By energism of consciousness Brahman is massed; from that matter is born and from matter life and mind and the worlds." We can’t simply observe a quantum experiment like we can observe a ball falling to the ground. If we were to watch the ball in the microscopic realm it would instead of falling, spontaneously move to the right, or disappear. It would do whatever we CHOOSE to see it do. The observer and the observed are one. There is no separate concrete reality outside ourselves; we are our reality. The reality outside of ourselves is a void, its nothing...No-thing, to have a thing you need its opposite that, but it contains all and unifies all possibilities...We just choose which possibility to experience. There are many realizations and layers of awareness and knowledge that can be reached if we choose to. If we let go of the notion that the only thing that will ever happen to the ball, is the ball moving to the right, or disappearing...We would realize that these are only 2 paths we have chosen, we can choose to experience an indeffinite amount of others. The basis of Tibetan mysticism is that the worlds are all phenomena we perceive are mirages created from our mind. Although we cant SEE it, we exist in a huge dissipated cloud, a midst of all possibilities; a huge library containing the whole spectrum of awareness levels from which our mind can choose to experience once it’s ready. These levels of mind or awareness exist as different layers of vibrations in the universe. The concept of different vibrations and levels of existence is not completely illogical. It could be very scientific. Things are considered physical only because the electrons in our bodies can’t pass through the opposing electrons in other atoms. Electrons repel each other. But if an atom were to exist in another frequency, it would seem non-existent to the atoms in our lower frequency. Claimes of Different vibrations in our universe arent that extreme compared to String theorist’s faith in the existence of other dimensions which are completely hidden from the direct perception of our senses and even current technology. The energies of all the different levels of awareness interact with our body through energetic connections or conduits called chakras. ![]() Each chakra has its own purpose and way of expressing itself in our psyche, and personality. For an example: Depending on the quality of the energy in the heart chakra, it manifests as our ability to connect with others in an emotional level or love unconditionally... depending on the quality of the solar plexus chakra it manifests as the different levels of self esteem, etc. Because Mind and energy are inseparable; a traumatic memory that is suppressed will inevitably manifest itself as a distortion in the energy fields that interact and sustain the body, causing health problems. I was raised as a Christian but as I grew older I had also grown apart from the creed I had always held on to. I began to see the ignorance and the hypocrisy of the churches and slowly began to drift away in the blurry and dreamlike world of Buddhism and Hinduism. My whole life I felt alone, I always wanted God, I would hunger for something, I wanted to taste the water of life so I would never thirst... but the water never came. So in my desperate attempt to find God, I began to study eastern philosophy, and discredit my original religion. Soon God had performed the biggest synchronicity in my whole life, I had met the perfect person that had provided exactly what I needed at that time...I had met an X-Buddhist who became a Christian! As he spoke the words of God through the Holy Spirit; he explained that God and Jesus were still with me, and he was always with me. So where was God when we needed him the most? Right here. How come we never feel his presence? How come he never has made himself known to you?...Well you won't let him. The kingdom of God is indeed within...He is no where to be found other than in you and with you. But you can't demand this realization. To demand, and resent God for not appearing to you would imply that you are separate from him...and separation is what you get. The more you resort to negative feelings that associate with separation, the more separation you will feel. The presence and love of God is already with you...But are you willing to allow your awareness to rise and approach the level of God's presence and love? That's the question. Because Mind and Energy are correlated, to elevate our awareness to the frequency of God we need to come to a realization. Our attitudes must change. We must CHOOSE unity and give up seperation. To reach more and more oneness with God...We need to give up more and more of our self, since our concept of ego or separation, inevitably brings us separation from God. Emotions such as happiness, love, acceptance and gratitude are emotions of unity...Choose to reject any negative emotion that contradicts these emotions of unity Perfection in separation is not possible. Only God can be like God. Perfection is only obtained through the sacrifice of self, when the self has no point of reference to grab on to; it drops to oblivion and our awareness is no longer prevented from rising to greater levels of awareness and elevates. We are then able to contain the uncontainable because there is no sense that there is something to contain it with. Then we just are...There is nothing present to TRY to give pure love, we just ARE pure love we don’t even have to try. It becomes so that we aren’t reaching or obtaining perfection anymore, just realizing it. At the final level of the end of separation we lose our identity as a physical being, and a brilliant crown of light forms at the top of our heads; radiating divine light and life into the void. The last process is to give up all perceptions of ANY separation that may still linger with us. We are pulled down to the boundless floor to surrender everything. WE take the crowns off our heads and toss them into oblivion, giving up everything for the embrace of the ultimate...We become perfect like Jesus, with God's spirit so present in our body its like God on earth. Our bodies transform into a transparent vessel, so that the light that permeates all things can pass through into a radiant union with the Creator and all of creation. ![]() the Third chakra is associated with our ego. When you totally give up everything even your ego to God… An energy shift happens, our awareness rises up to the next chakra: The heart chakra. When you reach this level you realize the importance of love, because you are aware of the unity of all things. To the ego it doesn't make sense to turn the other cheek, but when someone is nothing other than love it is simple and easy. So when you pray, pray so that you will be entrained to the awareness of whatever your praying for. I came to this concept of the SELF, through prayer and waiting for whatever realization to surface. I really never understood all of this until I had isolated myself in my room, sat in meditation and emptied myself before God. With my willingness to let go, and receive new things, God had pieced everything together in my mind. I prayed that I would feel comfort from God, and all the reasons why I haven’t received it began flooding into my mind. When you empty yourself before God, tell him that you give him everything and surrender all as you kneel on the ground....Do anything signifying your Total submission to God. As you do this all resistance against God's energies slowly dissipate and allow you to hear the silent communication with your higher self regarding your life, search for truth, or whatever is on your mind at that particular time. Just like the chakra's are conduits for God's levels of awareness and energy, your higher self is a conduit for God's consciousness. Through your higher self you have a direct connection to God. Every person is the center of Gods attention, is God ever the center of your attention? Dedicate some time during your day to just listen to God. When I was researching and reading into the new age teachings about the importance of love...I asked myself why love was so important...And it just came to me. Like a river of wisdom flowing down and influencing my hand as I moved my pencil.. If you want something from God, you must bring your request to God and wait with complete conviction that it will happen. Since there is absolutely no real separation, we actually have a never-ending OCEAN of abundance just waiting for us realize it and make it real in OUR reality. First We must raise our consciousness to the level beyond our opposites by BELIEVING we already have whatever we want, and thank God for giving it to us. By this positive mentality, we are raising our awareness to merge with this abundance...Mentally tell God what you want. You could say out loud: "God, I would like to receive _____ , from your ocean of cosmic abundance. Thank you God for giving this to me." You could even send God the blue prints on how you would like it, by imagining a detailed scenario in your mind during meditation. If this never works for you, this problem may not be from God but from yourself. You may have some past accumulated hurt, anger, repressed memory or unconscious programming keeping you from manifesting what you want. If this is the case, ask God to give you the right person (holistic healer, therapist, hypnotist, friend...anyone) to help you with your problem. |
