Is God the only ONE?
Now this brings up a tantalizing and EXTREMELY mind blowing possibility. I have wondered about this before...If you were to look up the definition of gestalt it is:
"A physical, biological, psychological, or symbolic configuration or pattern of elements so unified as a whole that its properties cannot be derived from a simple summation of its parts."
This gestalt could be depicted as a transcendant hologram of incomprehensible proportions. Every piece, or point within a hologram has all the information of the whole...the intrinsic interrelation of all things is hidden by our perception, but once scientists interact with nature at very small scales, the more we notice the futility in separating ourselves to prevent any alteration of the outcome of an experiment. We are inevitably a part of the equation, almost as if we are important to bring the result to actuality and solidify its position.
We also find that the endeavor to isolate and examine the universe as if nature is composed of tiny isolated pieces is impossible. Our inability and reluctance to understand or even consider the inherent oneness of the universe and every constituent of the universe, is inexorably producing a number of seemingly irreconcilable paradoxes which wont be solved unless we open up to the possibility that at the subatomic level we are ONE.
Can their be other ONE's? Nothing in the cosmos could sufficiently negate this possibility. Think of a blank piece of paper. Within this paper, because of its lack of any refrence points it would consequently be void of location or distance. It would seem that nothing would be beyond this paper, and because of its lack of relative positions (motion is relative, distance is relative) it would create the illusion that its oneness would extend and permeate through all of eternity. But if you were isolate yourself from the interrconnected tissue of this paper, you would finally be able to break through the invisible barrier of oneness and escape from the boundaries of the paper. For an example, just as if a fraction within the water of a pool were to transform into something else, it would escape the cohesive whole, and be able to break through the boundaries of oneness and find itself peering into another world. If we were to break free from this gestalt where would we find ourselves? WOW, what a concept.
A scenario comes to mind; in which before existence as we know it, and even before existence as God or our Gestalt knows it...It was combined, and unified with other Gestalts into one Ultimate Gestalt. It was like a huge oasis, a luminious cloud of activity.
Our gestalt could be considered as a mirror, in which it reflects itself into itself so it could know itself. But in this Ultimate reality, all mirrors were contained in one Ulitmate mirror, in which each mirror would reflect and accumulate each others reflections and a perpetual cycle of unified and collective thought would continue for eternity. Now who knows what it was thinking about...But obviously it was planning some sort of game. A HUGE game, in which this ulitmate gestalt would be occupied for an eternity playing this endless game with no beginning and no end (if you are wondering why I said no beginning...Perhaps this ultimate Gestalt was just a piece of an even bigger unified Gestalt).
For its transcendant purpose it for some reason isolated all Gestalts within themselves. As if a hologram were to tear itelf into pieces and inevitably leave smaller WHOLES...The ultimate Gestalt seemed to have torn and isolated its smaller but whole Gestalts. Probably because of the shock or change of circumstance, each Gestalt for some reason forgot any memories of what was before their separation.
"I AM" might be a question..."I AM?"; God within his isolation and total confusion of what it is and why it is decided therefore to create, to imagine, to embody every possibility in order to find out about itself and know its nature. Every single person who returns to God is contributing to Gods endeavor to know itself. Every single particle and atom, which collectively through their dynamic dance and interactions allow for the stability of creation contribute to God know itself. The trees that sway in the wind and the leaves that fall all contribute to God knowing itself; for it may take the attention of a curious mind and cause them to think and contemplate...and thus start them down the path of inner discovery. Just as our mission is to explore the deep hidden secrets of ourself, God is possibly trying to do the same thing, but on a LARGER scale.
The kabbalists are convinced and believe with complete conviction that each letter within the Hebrew alphabet (being God's language) is a representation for an actual force or important aspect within creation. They believe that through Hebrew, God creates and sustains the cosmos. The four bases (A,C,T,G) that form the DNA of our cells are all made of the four most common elements on Earth hydrogen, oxygen, nitrogen and carbon. The atomic mass numbers of these four elements as given by the periodic table of the elements match with the Gematrian values for the Hebrew letters Yod, Hey, Vav and Hey, that spell YHVH or Jehova, the Hebrew name for God...perhaps the kabbalists are on to something.
Perhaps with every single facet within the multi-dimensional nature of the universe...The uncountable number of particles and atoms, the possible timelines, the possible positions for a particle, the inexaustable source of zero point, and the millions of particles popping into existence and out of existence...God is actually playing a cosmic game of scrabble... With every single aspect from a particle to a galaxy representing a letter, a word or a sentence. The random and turbulent environment of zero point, the creation of galaxies, the explosion of suns, the creation of elements, the interaction of matter, the thriving of life on planets, the millions of possible outcomes of any event; are all just results of God frantically forming words and sentences; deleting them, then changing them, then re-arranging them, then forming more words, then combining them all together....for the hope that it might form a phrase, or sentence which would awaken a deep repressed memory of what it is and where it came from.
Just as our mission is to explore ourself, and through deep introspection we uncover secrets of unity; and the eventual merge of this unity...Maybe God is trying to do the same, to possibly merge itself with an even higher level of unity; in which it is one with all other Gestalts. This ultimate Gestalt may still be one with all others, and is just waiting for each illusionary separate Gestalt to realize it; Just as God is waiting for us to awake from our illusionary separation and realize oneness with him again....And so it goes on and on, higher and higher levels of oneness, A mirror within a mirror within a mirror and continues on for eternity. If this is true, than the label "God" is inevitably elevated to embody all Gestalts and infinite parts because the separation is only an illusion and all that exists is ONE...What a magnificient and awesome God! For their is more to it than we could EVER think!...
Just a thought :).
Who knows...Anything could be the truth...As scientists have found; the universe is totally contrary to common sense.
