The illusion
Are these lines bent or straight? These lines are in fact straight, but it is our mind that gets confused and creates the illusion of them being bent...Is the universe the same way? Is the universe actually a product of our mind?
When viewing scenery and admiring nature; listening to the slow rustling of leaves in the wind, watching the birds fly by and the clouds as they make their journey across the sky...The nice tranquil image that our mind's create is NO WHERE EVEN CLOSE to how reality really is. As the tiny packets of light impact the atom, its electrons become increasingly unstable as the photons ram into the surface of the shell and instantly dissapate into the cloud of energy. This instant surplus in energy causes a release of waves and ripples along the geometry of space which shoot out and eventually hit your eye...Your brain interprets these waves as color, and create the ILLUSION that this world is a world of color.
Scientists call this ocean of energy, the field. The cosmic mechanism in which all is connected...from what existed before, what exists presently and what will exist in the future. The field lifts the viel from our eyes, revealing reality in its true form, a universe in which there really is no dimension or time.
The whole concept that this universe may not be as ordered, stuctured and mechanical as we insist it should be would have never occured if scientists would'nt have ever encountered the relatively new quantum physics. As modern scientists continue to jump from their chair in bewilderment from the reacurring non-sensical solutions and stress over the inadequiacy of language and old theories...Buddhists are content, quiet, relaxed and calm. Eastern philosopher's arent surprised at all, nothing that the west have found is new to eastern mysticism...Yet how can they sit there in satisfaction and fulfillment with the knowledge of their inability to understand a thing in the universe? Aren't they enlightened?...Eastern philosophers had learned to embrace such problems. Not only is the universe illogical and totally contrary to what the brain interprets and understands...But it is weirder and more illogical than we can think.
It makes sense that if the fundamental particles of the universe are point like, as well as wave like... that scientists would be able to test for exact position and velocity when examining the point like aspect of the targeted particle. But we CAN'T...There have been numerous tries and the exact amount of failures. We cannot know both position and velocity, which gives scientists no choice but to suggest that particles arent really point like at all. As the tests progressed, it was hypothesized that particles exist in carriers called probability waves. We can only predict the chances of where a particle might end up. All we have is probabilities, we can NEVER know as much about a particle as want.
As wierd as it sounds, the experiments suggest that our awareness and consciousness have a role in each test. Before we ever know about any attribute(velocity,position etc.), the particle exists as a wave. It actually exists at all posible positions. Its attributes are not determined and pin-pointed by consciousness and so it stays in a schizophrenic, blurry ghost like state untill we observe it. Once observed, The wave is said to be collapsed...It cannot exist in all possible paths and positions when our logic nudges it off its limbo state into the conscious determined world of black OR white. Nothing can be grey in OUR world (the world WE construct), because logic is always there to collapse the probability wave.
If you ask a Buddhist, they would not see the difference. To a Buddhist,there is no difference between Existence and Non-existence. They have realized the deficiency of logic, and so they have logically discarded it.
When we say that God created us from nothing...indeed he did. But that nothingness physicists have found is something. When matter is taken away, and when a scientist examines a vacuum at zero degree’s (when there is supposed to be no energy whatsoever) it reveals a HUGE amount of energy, with particles randomly forming in this nothingness.. And when scientists say “particles” or “electrons” they no longer visualize a point like particle...as confusing as it is, we have found that is knots of energy or vibration in nothing.
Scientists aren't about to give up logic, so accepting the results is the best that the west can do untill then. Now scientist's view particles as abstract entities: “We can accept subatomic entities as being abstract entities and we can say something about their nature. To do so, however, we must bring in perhaps the most difficult concept of all, the concept of the curvature of space.”-Mysticism and the new physics.
Einstein’s special relativity theory, describes a sort of geometry to the universe. And gravity is caused by the stretching of this geometry and invisible lines (not even lines it is just a way for us to understand). It is difficult to visualize nothing being bent, in fact it is impossible to visualize it without creating a totally inaccurate picture. Scientists now believe that nothingness is the true building block of matter.“There is nothing in the world except empty curved space. Matter, charge, electromagnetism and other fields are only manifestations of the bending of space.”-Mysticism and the new physics.
It is at the point of nothingness (zero point, standing for the zero temperature) the fabric of space and time become turbulent and form bubbles of this nothingness which is the particles that we are made of. Although we think we are physical, the atoms that we are made of are vibrations in nothingness. Everything in the universe from the particles to atoms to the whole electromagnetic spectrum to all forms of energy are made of the same thing...Nothingness. “Is curved empty geometry a kind of magic building material out of which everything in the physical world is made: slow curvature in one region of space that describes a gravitational field; rippled geometry with a different type of curvature somewhere else describes and electromagnetic field; a knotted-up region of high curvature describes a concentration of charge foreign entities immersed in geometry, or are they nothing but geometry?”-mysticism and the new physics.
No wonder we are having such trouble examining particles and the realm of the very small..."If particles are undulations in nothingness, then attempts to measure an electron is similar to trying to measure the ripple on a streamer of silk flowing in the wind."-mysticism and the new physics.
Eastern religion view the physical universe, our reality, as nothing but an illusion. After real examination of this universe, we can see that their view seems pretty close to what reality really is. To say that reality is just an illusion is weird, but to say that we are made from nothingness, and we are also nothingness is just as weird. Actually the two are basically saying the same thing.
At zero point (the point where there is supposed to be NO energy what-so-ever)scientists view the particles blinking into existance as resembling the handles of teacups, a sort of shortcut through time and space (basically a wormhole). Every particle in the universe are connected by these wormholes, or mini black and white holes. To black and white holes, distance is irrelevant, dimensions have no meaning. A black hole and a white hole will seem to connect and transmit information spontaneously, even if it is spread out and separated by an infinitely large distance… So there you have it, an explanation for magic. Magic makes use of the very nature of the universe, and so therefore it CAN’T be evil. The process is not evil; we see it and do it with quantum experiments. We even do it unconsciously with our thoughts. What is evil is the person, the intent that it is transmitting to the subject. Just as technology can be good and evil, the same could be said about magic.
The Universe from this point, resembles much more like a cosmic dream rather than a huge machine. In your dream, everything is connected... I can dream of cities and a whole world but outside of my dream these vast distances have no meaning. I can also dream of the interaction of many people but the separation of each person is just an illusion...They all come from me, my essence. The separation of each individual on earth or any other life forms of the universe is just an illusion...we also come from the same essence. In my dream, If I were to stay asleep long enough, having allowed the people in my dream to develop modern technology they too would find the same problems arising from examining the universe at small scales...Its mysterious, intangible and ghost-like essence would inhibit them from knowing all the attributes of a particle(velocity and position) as well as the findings of any final fundamental particle which is seperate from the rest and not effected by consciousness(nothingness and the interrelation of all pieces of nothingness is what the universe is composed of).

This whole world really isn't material at all...It is actually a HUGE vast ocean of energy constantly moving and creating, interacting and combining, causing the formation of fields and waves which eventually mesh with others creating particles, atoms and the forces that implement and keep stability in this seemingly ordered universe. As physicists examine the universe at subatomic levels we are continuously being forced to change old beliefs into others that remarkably resemble the beliefs of eastern philosophy. The quiet, still and organized universe that we percieve is totally different from the way the universe really is. Smooth and solid surfaces such as the one that is holding your computer moniter right now, when observed at very low scales, resemble the surface of a pond when it rains. With the constant bombardment of light particles hitting the surface, bouncing off and hitting your eyes... the atoms that make the desk are never at rest.
