Launched in November 1995 and published by EMAP, SEGA Saturn Magazine was dedicated to the newest SEGA games console, the Saturn. Previously the magazine was known as SEGA magazine and the re-launch was to help shift focus from SEGA's other successful consoles, the Master System and Megadrive amongst others. Ultimately the Saturn was not the success that SEGA hoped for.
The magazine was to run for three years, ending in November 1998 after 37 issues. During these years the magazine provided in depth coverage of all the great games released for the Saturn, many top arcade titles manufactured by SEGA at the time, interesting features and articles on everything SEGA including some fantastic interviews with developers and production teams, AM2, Lobotomy, Sonic Team and many others.
Towards the end of the magazines life coverage began to shift towards reviews of import gaming and the upcoming new console from SEGA, the Dreamcast. Throughout each issue are hints, tips and complete solutions to almost every Saturn game released, this culminated in the final two issues with a massive section giving hints, tips and cheats to every Saturn game released!
