The first thing about the day was the torrential rain in the morning which left us soaked within minutes of leaving the house!

We ran for cover into the Aerolineas Argentinas shop in order to re-confirm our flights for Bs As for Saturday and to check out flights for Montevideo. After that, we trotted round the corner to the bank to change Emma�s travellers cheques - disaster! They wouldn�t accept the cheques there, so we resorted to plan B of me lending her money until Bs As.

Getting drenched in the rain, we ran (literally) all the way to the photocopiers to run off some "homework" for my class, before going into the lesson where Emma talked a bit about herself and where she came from, and we gave the class some examples of different pronounciation of words - "getting", use of long a in things like "class" and "glass". Had a bit of a laugh.

Federico and Glenys gave us a lift home while we sorted ourselves out for a trip to Gaiman in the afternoon.

We got to Gaiman about 4ish and went for a wander round the tourist shops - something which oddly I�ve not really done while there!

Emma found some plates and that which she liked, and some whales and penguins for members of the family, so bought them.

We walked over to the churches and showed her the Gorsedd stones and then went for tea in Ty Gwyn, one of the tea houses near the river.

Rather unusually, I was introduced to someone else Welsh who was visiting the area - Elin Jones, the Plaid Cymru AM from Ceredigion, so we had a brief chat about what we were both doing there and then got on with our tea.

Had another look around the tat shops afterwards and then went back to Trelew in the early evening.

Having stuffed ourselves full of tea and cakes in Gaiman, we didn�t go out for food afterwards, just off to check the internet.
