Got up as usual and headed off to church early on Sunday morning, for service in Spanish once again (apparently the Welsh ones are only on second and fourth Sundays, so any fifth Sunday, like last week) is in Spanish as is the first week a week later.

Service in Spanish is good for my Spanish in any case, and was followed by ysgol sul in Welsh and then the communal singalong.

Despite having slept most of the day on Saturday, I was still tired, so went back to bed again after church.

Then, when I woke up, I hit the books. Not literally, obviously, but a couple of days without reading had left me a little behind in my schedule.

So, I picked up the Cortazar book, lay back on the bed and read my way through a couple of short stories, until I was near the end of the book. Excellent. I am now able to read one of Argentinas most famous authors with only occasional recourse to my small and silly dictionary. yes!

After getting through more of the stories (leaving one to finish off tomorrow!), it was time to hit the cybercafe once more to get the latest footy news and arguments from home, and then, when that was finally over, late, late, late into the night, time to think about all of the work that awaits in the week ahead. Gulp.
