Expensive Storage By ladee_sarah Yes I know your Safety Deposit Box is free when you sign-up for an account with the National Neopian but I�m talking about NeoDecks. If you don�t know, a NeoDeck is a place where you can store your Collectable Cards and when someone looks you up they can look at the cards you�ve collected. The problem is every time you get a new card you need to upgrade you NeoDeck because unlike your shop when you upgrade your NeoDeck you only get room for one more card. At first it�s only 50np, but soon it becomes 100np and so on. My NeoDeck is size 50 now and it�s costing me 3,000np to upgrade it each time. 3,000np for one card! For the sake of working it out I think the prices increased something like this: First 5 cards � 100np Next 10 cards � 250np Next 10 cards � 500np Next 10 cards � 1,000np Next 10 cards � 1,500np Next 10 cards � 3,000np Based on the above so far I�ve spent 48,000np on displaying my Collectable Cards. Let�s say, from size 50 onwards you only have to pay 3,000np every time you want to upgrade your NeoDeck. There are 306 cards but we�ve already got room for 50 so at the moment we only need to upgrade another 256 times to have room for all of the Collectable Cards. 256 x 3000 = 768,000np plus the 48,000np already spent is 816,000np. So what can you do? Squander thousands of neopoints, almost 1,000,000np in fact on your NeoDeck just to display your full set of Collectable Cards? Is it worth it? I don�t know, I guess it all depends on whether people actually look at your NeoDeck after all that is the point. Also anyone who has 816,000np to spend on upgrading their NeoDeck and posses all 306 Collectable Cards is probably searching for things to spend their neopoints on anyway so whether anyone looks at the NeoDeck or not probably hasn�t crossed their mind. But for the average Neopian maybe it�s best to only upgrade your deck when you have some extra neopoints and keep the cards that don�t fit in your NeoDeck in your Safety Deposit box - at least that doesn�t cost you anything.
