Getting your kids to eat right
My Weight Journey
1. To be able to sit in any chair without fear of breakage.
2. To fit in the booth at any restaurant.
3. To feel good about yourself.
4. To not have to feel self-conscious about eating in front of others.
5. To wake up without pain in your back or legs.
6.To not have to think up an excuse for not doing something because your weight will get in the way.
7. To go to an amusement park with your family and actually RIDE the rides.
8. Wearing shorts and a tank top without fear of being arrested for indecent exposure.
9. To know you can go anywhere because you will be comfortable no matter where you have to sit.
10. To sit in an airline/bus/theater seat without spilling over onto the next seat dealing with"that look" from your neighbor patron.
36. To not turn beet red after moderate exertion.
37. To be able to pick something up off of the floor without losing your breath.
38. To have more energy!
39. So your ankles won't swell.
40. To be able to go dancing, skydiving, bungee jumping...
11. To not have to constantly worry if people are laughing at you.
12. To be able to go horseback riding or ride a bike.
13. To not have to worry about dripping on your shirt when you eat.
14. To be able to tie your own shoes or paint your own toenails.
15. To not get stuck in a shower stall (THIS HAS HAPPENED).
16. So the bathroom scale won't complain when you step on it.
17. To be able to wear a bathingsuit without shorts and a t-shirt.
18. To be proud you no longer wear a size 26!
19. To not have to count tying your shoes as exercise.
20. To not be more out of shape than senior citizens!
31. To not need an extension for your seat belt and have to balance the tray
table on your belly on a plane!
32. To look in the mirror at a salon without thinking you must have the biggest face in the world.
33. To not have to worry whether you will be decapitated by your seatbelt if you are in a car accident.
34. To buy clothes at a "normal" store and actually get some that have some style and fit right!
35. To not have to apologize when caught in a narrow aisle and have someone need to get by you...
41. To not worry about sweating too much or whether or not you are going to get a rash.
42. To not have your belly hit the steering wheel when you are driving.
43. To be able to buy a bra from Victoria's Secret and know that you can wear it!
44. So you won't have to look away from the bank monitors when you are on camera.
45. To not have to wait for the handicap stall when there are many other stalls open.
21. To try to make a "double chin" and fail!
22. To be able to buy clothing that will "fit next year" and they do!
23. To not have to worry about your zippers busting open.
24. Being able to wear normal waistbands without elastic in them.
25. To look great in a t-shirt--No lumps!
26. To get close to the sink without coming away with a wet belly!
27. To be able to get up off the floor gracefully.
28. To not have to worry if your hairdresser's smock will fit.
29. To not be afraid to ask which hairstyle suits your face.
30. To not break the toilet seat when leaning to one side...
46. To not have "caring" people asking you why you don't diet...Or worse, "You have such a pretty face."
47. To no longer worry about the weight limit of ladders, stools, motorcycles, exercise equipment...
48. To be able to leave a tablecloth on the table when you get up instead of taking it with you when you get up.
49. To be able to wear knee socks without them ending up as slouch socks 10 minutes later.
50. To be able to try on slacks or jeans and actually  be able to pull them up over your thighs without struggle.
