Investigators had found Buster's badly beaten body buried in a shallow grave in an alleyway behind Wallisch's house in Joliet Illinois. A necropsy found Buster suffered massive injuries consistent with a beating and had been likely buried alive. In April 2008, charges against Wallisch were upgraded to a felony. Wallisch has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him, and he is due back in court on Friday, June 13. Please thank Will County State's Attorney James Glasgow for his hard work in this case and encourage him to do everything he can to ensure Wallisch pays with jail time if convicted of this violent crime against Buster. Here is a link to send a message to Mr. Glasgow. Mr. Glasgow is planning to make a statement about animal cruelty at the TLC Walkathon on June 7th in Dellwood Park, Lockport. Sandi O'Brien will make a short statement during the public comments period at the next Homer Glen Board meeting on May 27 thanking Mr. Glasgow on behalf of the Humane Voters of Homer Glen. 5/18/08: 11 people joined HVHG at Dominicks membership drive 5/17 & 5/18 Donations were accepted for TLC Animal Shelter. ![]() 5/12/08: Puppy Mill busted in Wadsworth IL Cocker spaniels were taken from a hoarder/puppy mill breeder over Mothers Day weekend.
