Dabbling in Painting

Nearly everyday from July 4th, through July 18th, I painted the house.  One day, my aunt and her kids came over and helped.  There were another few days (4?) where both of my parents were able to come help paint, but most days, it was just me and Mom.

Rob and I were going back and forth from the old house to the new house (a 2 hour drive) with 2 dogs (Chaos and Ray), most days.  We'd arriving at the new house around 12 or 1 with a truck load of stuff to unload.  Then we (mostly I, because Rob was deathly ill at this time) would unload, arrange our supplies, do all the prep work and start painting.  Mom would stop by on her way home from work, arrive at about 6, paint until 11 (or later, then she'd go to work at 6 the next morning).

It was crazy and then we had a painting disaster!
