Greece is a country with thousands of years of history. Its land has whitnessed numerous civilisations peaking and decaying, Gods and mortals enganging themselves in epic battles, amazing events and ancient mysteries taking place. Through the echo of millenia strange creatures, marvelous inventions and amazing phenomena have marked the Greek land. The researcher of the weird can still trace them in myths, legends, customs even arcaelogical findings. Here we have an evergrowing collection of the lesser known weird side of Greece... Suddenly, around 1500 AD, the eruption of volcano in Thera put an end to this extrordinary's people dominance and marked the beginning of the so called middle ages of Greece. The legend of Atlantis has fascinated the human kind for millenia. One of the most prominent theories for its actual location is the one about Thera, the beautiful Greek volcanic island in the middle of the Aegean. Were the Minoans inhabiting the island the true Atlanteans? Were the Greek ancient monument built with a greater plan in mind? Was really Colombus the one to "descover" the American continent or was it already known to the Western world a few thousand years earlier? In 1943 the American government conducted a very extraordinary experiment which was called the Philadelphia Experiment. Through the years many research has been done concearning the experiment and many theories and explanations have been given.
