| HOPE Varsity kicked off their season with a hard fought win against the Omaha Lightning. HOPE jumped out to an early lead led by Merrell Devers and Dana Jenkins. After a sluggish second quarter, Cordell Bridgeman came off the bench to jump start the team. His solid defense and rebounding helped HOPE get back on track. Bobby Ricks played solid on both ends of the floor which helped HOPE fend off the pesky Lightning. It was a solid team effort for their first win of the season. |

| After a tight first quarter, HOPE Varsity took advantage of some cold shooting and turnovers, by the Omaha Roadrunners, to take a 35-22 lead at half. HOPE held the lead the rest of the way led by the dominating performance by Dana Jenkins. Dana had a game high 32 points in the win. Merrell Devers added 14 to help lead HOPE to their second win of the season. |

| After a close first quarter, HOPE Varsity picked it up on the defensive end of the floor in the second quarter. Their defense led to easy fast breakpoint which gave them a 14 point lead at half. Their defense was the key in the second half as well. Their bench play was the difference outscoring Street School's bench 37-0. Five guys scored in double figures as they coasted to an 84-53 win. It was an all around great team effort. |

| HOPE Varisty kicked off the Grace University Holiday Tournament by playing their best game of the year so far. After a tight first quarter, HOPE picked up their defense and led at half 38-22. They expanded their lead past 30 in the second half in winning 74-40. Dana Jenkins had his first double-double of the season with 20 points and 10 boards. Tier Gray added 14 and Merrell Devers added 12 to help lead HOPE to the victory. |
| In the nightcap, the HOPE Varsity played a familiar opponent in the second semifinals of the Grace University Christmas tournament. This game was a defensive struggle throughout. HOPE led at half 26-15. The defensive battle contnued in the second half with HOPE pulling away for the 48-32 win against the Omaha Lightning. Dana Jenkins had his second double-double of the tourney with 15 points and 10 boards. Dre' Edwards added 11 in the win. |

| In the championship game of the Grace University Christmas Tournament, HOPE Varsity faced off against the Omaha Roadrunners. This was a great battle between two great teams. Defenses on both teams played exceptionally well throughout which made it a very entertaining game to watch. It was a back and fourth game throughout, with HOPE leading at half by three. The Roadrunner guard kept his team in the game hitting four three's in the 3rd, bringing the two teams to a deadlock 39-39 after three quarters. In the end, the HOPE defense was too much allowing to pull out the victory and winning first place in the Grace University Christmas Tournament. |
| Game 7 |
| HOPE Varsity did not play one of their better games of this 2005-06 season but they still managed to pick up the win. Led by the 20 point and 20 rebound effort of center Dana Jenkins, HOPE was able to pull out the 52-46 win at home. |
| Game 8 |
| For the first time all season the HOPE Varsity trailed at half. They struggled from the field in the first half and had several turnovers that caused for their sluggish start. In the 2nd half they picked it up on the defensive end, led by Cordell Bridgeman, and went on a 22-0 run carrying it over to the 4th quarter as well. They were dominating in the 2nd half which helped them pull out the 61-40 win to improve to 8-0 on the season. Tier Gray had 17 points and 9 boards in the win. |

| A back and fourth game throughout the first half found HOPE trailing the first time all season at the half, 29-27. Dre' Edwards put the team on his back in the second half scoring 22 of his game high 26. Dana Jenkins (10 pts., 17 rebs.) and Tier Gray (14 pts., 13 rebs.) added double-doubles in a good hard fought win on the road. Bobby Ricks also added double digit rebounds with 12 to help HOPE remain undefeated at 9-0 going into the big match up against the Roadrunners next Tuesday. |
| Game 10 |
| Playing with a short bench, HOPE had an impressive win on the road to improve to 10-0 on the season. It was a fair close game throughout the first half with HOPE leading 29-14. HOPE took over in the 3rd to take a commanding lead, leading them to a 69-29 win. Bobby Ricks sparked HOPE off the bench with a game high 19 points and 18 rebounds. Calvin Thomas had 10 boards to help jump start their transition game in the game changing 3rd quarter. Overall it was a very good team win. |
| Game 11 |
| HOPE jumped out to a early lead, leading by 16 midway through the 2nd quarter. Seward fought back the rest of the way and cut the HOPE lead to 2 with 10 seconds remaining. HOPE managed to break Seward's press and score an easy layup to secure the 56-52 victory and to improve to 11-0 on the season. Tier Gray (11 points, 10 rebounds) and Dana Jenkins ( 14 points, 10 rebounds) both posted double-doubles to help lead HOPE to the victory. |
| Game 12 |
| After a slow first quarter start, HOPE picked up their defense in the 2nd and 3rd quarters which allow them to extend their lead to 20 at one point in the 3rd. It was not the strongest of shooting nights for HOPE but they managed to cash in on 2nd and 3rd opportunities. Four players managed to rack up 10 boards or more helping them grab a season high in rebounds for a game. Mid-Season addition Taylor Foster scored 18 points, sparking HOPE's 2nd and 3rd quarter runs. HOPE improves to 12-0 on the season with the 62-47 victory over the Omaha Lightning. HOPE face the Omaha Beef, at the HOPE Center, in a game that is expected to be played before record crowds. |
| Game 14 |
| In a game that featured Omaha's Arena Football team and your undefeated HOPE Varsity, it was a game that was a crowd pleaser. It was a match up of two opposites, the Beef with the size and strength while HOPE with the speed and endurance. It was back and fourth through the first three quarters with each member of the HOPE squad contributing to the scoring. In the fourth HOPE was able to pull away late to improve to 13-0 on the season. Charles Bibbs, season high, 9 points and Dre' Edwards' clutch three pointer helped HOPE pull away late in the contest. HOPE will try to continue their undefeated season Friday when they take on a team from Witchita, Kansas in the Inner City Ministry Classic hosted at the Omaha Roadrunners' gym. |
| Game 13 |
| HOPE lead from the start, a lead they never gave up. The story of the game was how HOPE was able to finish quarters. They were able to end each quarter on a run which allowed them to hold their lead. Gerome Byrd, Bobby Ricks and Dana Jenkins all managed to score in double figures to help edge out the Angels 69-55. HOPE will try to keep their undefeated season in tact as they take on the Roadrunners in the season finale this upcoming Thursday(2-23). |
| Game 15 |
| A slow start to the first quarter found HOPE trailing 14-12. In the second and third quarters, HOPE's transition game and offensive rebounding came to life allowing them to take the lead and extend it to 8 after third quarters on play. The Roadrunners' tried to make comeback late but it was not enough as HOPE was able to pull out the victory 66-60. With this win HOPE finishes the season with a perfect 15-0 mark. Congratulations to the players and coaches on a wonderful season. |
