2006 HOPE Center Sports Department
In-House Basketball is under way.  The season will consist of 7 games plus playoffs.  The following are the coaches of the teams:

Bulls: Tyrell Tealer                Celtics: Mr. Will
Lakers: Pastor King              Knicks: Mr. Pete

The schedule and results are posted below and the individual statistics are posted on the team page (linked on the left).  Please check back as it should be updated often.

Terrence Craig
(Lakers)
Terrence scored a season high 22 points in the 77-57 win over the Knicks.  Terrence was a player that his coach, Pastor King, wanted to trade away before the season started.  We will have to see now if Pastor King wants to get rid of one of his better players before the 7:45pm trading deadline this Monday (3/27).
Week 2
Playoff Games: Monday, May 15th...Knicks at Lakers 6:00pm...Bulls at Celtics 6:45pm...Come check us out!!!
Charles Bibbs
(Bulls)
Charles led the Bulls with 21 points in the 33-31 win over the Knicks.  Charles' steal and layup with .5 seconds left game was the key play of the game.

Preston and Adrian Armstrong
Knicks

Preston hit some clutch three point baskets and Adrian Armstrong added a huge basket to lead the Knicks to their first win of the year 46-38 over the Bulls.  The Knicks will take on the top seeded Lakers in the first round of the playoffs next week.

George Thompson
(Lakers)
George lead the Lakers to victory scoring 12 of his game high 19 in the second half leading the Lakers over the Bulls 47-36.  With that win the Lakers move into first with a half game lead over the Bulls.
Week 3
Bobby Ricks
(Celtics)

Bobby led the Celtics with 26 points in a losing effort to the Lakers.  Bobby and the Celtics look to rebound when they play the Bulls in a key game, for playoff seeding, next week at 6:45pm.
Week 4
Chris Craig
Lakers

Chris was the difference maker in the 65-53 win over the Knicks.  Chris scored a game high 23 points and hit some clutch shots to hold off the pesky Knicks.  Chris and the Lakers take in the Bulls next week.
Week 5
Josh Drummond
Celtics

Josh backed up his talk by scoring 25 points in the win over the Knicks.  During the game Josh shouted over to the Knicks coach saying "You're team can't stop me".  He was right, the Knicks had no answer for him in the 58-45 win.
