Problem Statement:

The original hookup for the electricity was an ungrounded 12 AWG wire that runs strait from the 200 amp house service breaker. This was completely unsafe and had to be changed immediately.

Power consuming devices:

Water pump - 14.8 amp at 120 volts ac
Electric heater - 12.5 amp at 120 volts ac.

Solution:

Pump Specificataions
  • Install a 30 amp fuse box with 20 amp slow blow fuses
  • Run wire for and install an inside light
  • Install a grounding rod to supply earth ground
  • Design, manufacture and install a solution to get around the 20 amp limitation imposed by the 12 AWG feed line or install a larger line
