Holy God's gracious healing hug takes us from practicing somewhat unconvinced in our own garden to His garden in paradise and ushers in a brand new tomorrow that starts whenever there is room for a totally trusting today. Eternally loved and treasured Teacher, Triune God, open up a special place reserved for adoration in all hearts longing to love Jesus Christ; so that

their appreciation of and gratitude for His redeeming work at Calvary is genuine.

Anytime, anywhere, whenever You desire to meet Your holy Friend of Friends He will be there to hug you when You give Him a hug with your whole heart, mind, soul and strength. Say you love Him and long to be His friend and obedient pastor servant.

Success is falling head over heels in love with the Prince of Peace. Dads and moms, the world's interest in God's tree of life, Jesus Christ, isn't hug-orientated enough. This must change and this change must start happening in our own backyard - in the backyard of our corrupt mind.

God's loving, compassionate, corrective, kick kicks in best when God-seeking mankind runs out of trust in his own unkind kick and stretches both his hands lovingly around the Tree of life's trunk like waist and teachings. Ladies and gentlemen, before we can fall in love with Our Creator we must start fighting against the chest thumper in us.

Intrepid fighters for good, it is possible to put the show off in us to the sword, without putting on boxing gloves, but only if we voluntarily fall in love with God's holy, righteous, compassionate, forgiving Word.

It is in laying down our wants and desires that we find God's wants and desires. And it is in laying down our wants and desires that we find out that God's best for our unique life is still to come. Whilst on this journey we will discover that one of the pervading spirits in our life that must be challenged is a spirit that labels our neighbor as unworthy of dignity. Fellow citizens of the world, appreciation for our neighbor is indispensable, if we are desirous to appreciate God's gracious, praiseworthy love, especially demonstrated at Calvary, on our behalf.

The spirit of mankind that announces that "we will fight terror with all our might" honors God, only if we abide in His might. His might is his very Word. If we abide in His Word, Jesus Christ, and hear His holy voice we will pray for our neighbors (the redeemed and unredeemed). We will say to them that we have hurt you and you have hurt us.

If we abide in His Word we shall say to them, also, that we shall not lift a hand of violence against you anymore, but leave all judgments to Our totally trustworthy Creator God; for He is sovereign Judge and He will administer perfect justice in our lives.

Our trust is in God Almighty who kicks, unlike man, trouble into touch without the game of life being spoilt. Lovers of goodness, darkness and dreadful ness must never be applauded. Lovers of goodness, let us also appreciate that chest-thumping mankind can never promise and deliver a safer world, even if the so-called civilized cheer them on.

Does anybody really want to be led by chest-thumping bullies? Faithful Father, help us to understand that the truly God-honoring of this age must not be gun-totting in either word or deed. Precious Dads and moms, if we are truly tired of shedding blood we would throw away our trust in weapons that inflict bloodshed.

Intrepid searchers for truth, let us remember that terrorists - as evil as they behave, still have a body, soul and spirit. God Almighty can and will correct, rebuke, chasten and enlighten them whenever He chooses. He has called us to be pure-hearted not murderers.

Terrorism is evil. Equally exterminating terrorists is also evil. True faith announces that Our Peace bringer, Jesus Christ, will disarm the enemies of peace when we disarm ourselves and arm ourselves with His reconciliatory, forgiving life-edifying and ennobling spirit.

May I encourage everyone whose belief systems have been tolerating the shedding of blood to walk into their gardens. May I encourage you further now to start hugging the tree with the biggest trunk that you can find. Persevere patiently and you shall be grown up in prudence.

Persevere patiently lovers of the tree of life, until your arms and minds are too tired to wave retaliatory at terrorists. Fellow neighbors, if you see your neighbors hugging a tree you can copy what they are doing also to great spiritual advantage.

Trunk-hugging Dads and Mums, I'll leave you to it now; as my arms have become exhausted. Just don't make this pleasurable past-time into an addiction.

Your mission, as the holy God obedient, involves hugging that tree in the garden that you have formed a close relationship with until you realize just how peace-loving the Tree of life is. Holy God Triune, our lifelong prayer is to abide daily in Your Holy Word; so that Your healing, inspiring, beautiful, friendly love will overshadow us perpetually like a band of lovely spring weather.

Blessed Father of heaven and earth, we know that as long as we keep obediently hugging Your teachings, that even in the severest winters of our lives, You will love us so lovingly that confidence in Christ Jesus will be the constant color to our countenance.

God of yesterday, today, tomorrow and eternity, we love and cherish You. I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter the kingdom of God.

Jesus says these wonderfully informative words in John 3, in his discussion with Nicodemus. In John 4 He states..."But the water that I [Jesus Christ] shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life." This statement amounts to a claim that I, Jesus Christ, am the source of everlasting life. In John 14:6 Jesus confirms this as He says I am the way the truth and the life ! In Rev 7:21 we read to him [the thirster for righteousness] who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be His God and he shall be my son.

From our studies we can see that salvation can't be separated from the name of Jesus Christ. Likewise it can't be separated from the name of God Our Father and the holy Spirit. In the Lord's prayer we rightly give Our father glory and attribute sovereign power to Him when we announce triumphantly "for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever. Amen."

We would do well to add blessing, honour, wisdom, thanksgiving and riches to our heartfelt professions to love God; for He is worthy to be greatly blessed, seen as all wise, deserving of our sacrifices of thankfulness, praise and adoration !

Blessed be Thy Name, holy Father, forevermore. thou who art the source of all riches and beauty lift our desire to fellowship purely with Thee. When we study God's word closely we see that the risen Jesus Christ is equally worthy of blessing, honour, wisdom, thanksgiving, riches and glory; for He is Our all powerful King of Kings and Lord of Lords. He is the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. He is the faithful and true Witness. He is the beginning of the creation of God.

He is the good shepherd who leads his creation to the living fountain of water; for He is the word of God. And when the kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of Our Lord and his Christ [Our cherished Saviour] He shall reign gloriously [as our holy King] forever and forever. Amen. Clothed outwardly in respectable clothes, clothed inwardly with a God and mankind disrespecting heart that's how we are before Christ Jesus cleans us up.

It is in loving us so profoundly, with such beautiful compassion, that Our Creator demonstrates how seriously He is taking our need for restoration!

How beautiful You are Our mighty, majestical Maker. Although we are still in many aspects of our life fragile You are teaching us triumphantly to understand that we (Your redeemed) are a beautiful God-blessed, consecrated light, consecrated to be poured out in loving service to our family, brethren and neighbour in order to assist You in changing darkness to light.

We all have a heart, whether we consider our self Muslim, Jewish, Buddhist, a witch, a Catholic, an alien, or a lonely loser. Since all such people, still precious in God�s sight, are God�s creation each one can ask: is it possible to find true hope?

We all have a heart whether we be into numerology, astrology, bashing our neighbour, bashing bees or being bitten by bees that can ask at least from time to time: is there a great Friend who encourages and comforts us, so that we will never walk alone?

We all have a heart, as corrupt as it is, that knows that there are hooligan-like traits in our character. We all have a heart that we know is tainted with wickedness; for when things don't go our way it doesn't take long before we are giving someone an earful or a hard time.

As owners of a deceitful heart we have all done our fair share of kicking and punching at God's word hoping to change the look of it.

Looking at our life objectively it's obvious to see that we have all violated God's perfect, holy laws. We have all ignored the needy or kicked out at the defenceless. We have all had moments when we have prized the soul of man disgracefully low. Whatever is helpful, whatever is protective you'll find in God's love.

Father, though many of us are determined to obey You much of our life is still characterized by unthoughtful behaviour. Father, though many of us are determined to obey You more fully much of our life has been characterized up to now by grotesque acts of inward and outward violence.

Do you not sense like me that you will need a good teacher? Do you not sense like me you will need to be told off and not just for using bad language?

Do you not sense like me that you need someone called Almighty God to teach you gently but firmly how to discern right from wrong?

Do you not sense like me that you need to learn about Satan, God's enemy properly?

Holy Father God, we need to learn that our wicked enemy Satan, must be resisted powerfully by Your word if we are not to be felled by his multitude of lies.

If you sense that your performance in life is barely more active than that of a dazed corpse? If you sense that you haven't got a good scent for what God's will is? If you want whatever is uncouth, obnoxious, and excessively violent about you cleaned up now is your chance.

Whether it be winter, summer, autumn, spring or some other season in your heart you can cry out, as David did, for a cleansed heart and a renewed spirit.

Treasured searchers for God, we have been victims of lack of understanding long enough. Strap on your shoes called it's time to visit Jesus Christ; for it is time to come home to His home of holiness. Strap on your shoes called it's time to visit Jesus Christ; for it is time for both of us to come home to Our holy, merciful God Triune, the God of heaven and earth and unique Author of the Holy Bible.

Pray now we me so that you can take the first step in the right direction; for we know that sincere prayer God never turns His ear away from. Pray a prayer of thanksgiving and praise to God; because He has unceasingly been providing you and me and everyone else with the necessities of life.

As God finds you somewhat slouched in understanding and your attitude to Him still somewhat slovenly looking it will be apparent to you spreadeagled on the seat of your pants that you aren't a picture of strength.

He will tell you authoritatively and encouragingly that He is King and that you must bow down properly before Him.

When I bowed before Him with my no longer rebellious heart I didn't know where He was exactly. He could, I reasoned, have been standing less than a palm's width from me or He could have been already dwelling within me.

A sense of being increasingly comforted came into my heart. As I have continued abiding in His Word His love has begun to overshadow me, more and more, like a band of lovely spring weather that brings confidence-catching colour to eyes that need to look more confident.

God bless You richly compassionate Comforter, the Holy Spirit; for now I know with complete confidence that You are the welcome Teacher who loves to pay surprise visits to the living room of the human soul.

God bless You for all the beautiful, healing power that is flowing from Your holy presence. Give me a kiss on the cheek; for I need another one. Bless You surprise, life-enriching, laudable and loving visitor. Amen.
