If you've ever searched for a reason to read Tower Records' Pulse music hype magazine, I've found one. My friends Patrick Welch and Carrie Golus, who do various articles/drawings for NewCity, etc., have done a piece about the Palm Tavern and its closing. It's a very touching requiem to the place, I think. The piece is on the last page, facing the back cover. The front cover has Destiny's Child on it. Pick up a copy or 10.
