This was the cover of the sales kit for Hippy and Pop. Copies of the strips and character sheets were inside when it was dropped off with cartoon editors. They would most often use it as kindling.

This was the inside page for the sales kit. This idea was later used as a Sunday strip to reinforce the concept of the comic for the newspaper review committees. The committees, who often make decisions on buying a comic, don't always get to see the expensive full color art in the sales kits. Frequently they only see the individual strips, which don't burn as well as the folders.

This was the back cover of the sales kit. Peggy is showing Cindy a bag of "extra dry seaweed", Pop is drinking "Lug Nut Ale"and there is a Peter Max print on the wall.

This was an early character design sheet of the Mcklusky family.
