THE LATEST

Upon their retirement Hippy and Pop took a long vacation. Pop went to Vegas to play the slots and heckle Sigfried and Roy. Hippy took the family on an Eco-vacation, where they photographed endangered species and chained themselves to old growth trees.

Since returning, Pop's newfound celebrity has him appearing regularly on talk shows. His latest appearance was a lively panel discussion on the Rob Nelson show entitled: "Washed Up, Almost-Famous Personalities." Pop shared the stage with "Puck", from the Real Word, the naked guy from Survivor and a gaggle of rejected contestants from "The Big Brother" show. The interaction became quite heated as Pop threw chairs and yelled expletives at the other guests, while most of them attacked him with erasers. The segment has since been nominated for an Emmy Award. Pop has also been selected as a spokes-model for a new men's grooming company called "Machismo Men". He will be appearing in print and TV spots as the "before" picture.

Hippy has been spending his free time recording a new CD in his home studio, tentatively titled:"Love my Tie-dye." He hopes to present the 8 minute guitar feedback track called,"Take This, Pop!" as an MP3 release soon.

Hippy and Pop's overpaid agent has been feverishly bribing and threatening network executives in the hopes of bringing H&P to television. Stay tuned here to find out if the networks can possibly sink any lower.
