The winter was rolling around and Huck seemed to be puling everything together. One day Huck was just getting home and in the snow he saw a footprint in the snow that had two nails crossing, to ward off demons. He knew right away that his Pap was back and was looking for him. He hid out trying to avoid him but it was no use. At night time Huck entered his room to find his Pap standing in there. Pap yelled at Huck saying that he thought that he was better than him. He wanted Huck�s money for the lost treasure but Huck told him he didn�t have it, that Judge Thatcher had it. So Pap went and harrased Judge Thatcher the next day. Pap wanted Huck back and through the court the new Judge came to realize that he didn�t want to separate a father and sun.
Chapter 6
Pap had forbid Huck to attend school now that he was living with him, but he went anyway just to make him sore. They lived in a old beat up cabin about three miles out of town. Everyday Pap would lock Huck in and he would go out and get drunk, and sometimes arrested. Huck decided that he was going to runaway. He saw a little hole in the wall and one day took an axe to it. He was almost out when Pap came back only to find Huck halfway out of the hole. Pap chased him around with a knife calling him �The Angel of Death�. But soon enough he passed out into a drunken sleep.
