AEGINA
Actress: Clare Carey
Biography: A slave girl who was about to be sacrificed by some of Hera's goons until Hercules saved her. She asked Hercules to escort her back to her hometown of Ister which he agreed to albeit reluctantly. On the way, Aegina helped him see that his quest for vengeance against Hera was not doing anyone any good and when they reached Ister, Hercules decided it was time to return to his life of doing good deeds by defeating the troublesome She Demon.
ALCMENE
Actress: Jennifer Ludlum, Elizabeth Hawthorne, Liddy Holloway, Kim Michalis (Young Alcmene)
Biography: The  mortal mother of Hercules and Iphicles, Alcmene has been a huge influence on Hercules' life. She has always encouraged Hercules in his need to help others, but she also worries for his safety, particularly when he was younger. That said, Alcmene is no stranger to danger herself. When she was pregnant with Hercules, a time-travelling Callisto attempted to kill her, thus stopping Hercules from ever being born, but Iolaus managed to save her. Her wedding to Hercules' friend Jason was also used by Hera's servant the Blue Priest to kill Hercules, but the trap failed. Hercules was at first uncomfortable with his mother amrrying his old friend, but he soon decided that he was  happy if his mother was happy. When Alcmene died of illness, Zeus offered to make Hercules a full god and Hercules was so upset at his mother's passing that he accepted without considering Zeus' real motive.




AMPHION
Actor: Brad Carpenter
Biography: An ex-war hero and pal of Herc and Iolaus. When they came to visit him they were shocked to find he was now a man of peace preaching non-violent defiance of the corrupt local magistrate Trachis. Trachis framed him for murder and Amphion would not deny the accusations. It was up to Hercules, Iolaus and Amphion's fiance Leah to find the Sword of Veracity to get Trachis to admit to framing Amphion. Once Trachis was exposed and Amphion freed he married Leah. They were guests at Alcmene's wedding to Jason.
ANIA
Actress: Jill Sayre
Biography: Iolaus' wife, Ania was a pleasant sort although Hercules disliked her at first due to her poor cooking skills. Once he had been re-educated by the Amazons, the demi-god soon warmed to her. She and Iolaus had children together, but it is unclear what happened to her or their children. Iolaus had to raise his children on his own at some stage suggesting Ania either died or left him.
ANTAEUS
Actor:  Mark Newnham
Biography: The son of earth itself, Antaeus the Giant could not be harmed while his feet touched the ground. Hercules and Deianera were tricked into entering his lair by Phaedra and the giant almost succeeded in killing Hercules until Deianera worked out the secret of defeating him. Hercules lifted the giant over his head and shook him until he died.
ARES
Actor: Mark Newnham, Kevin Smith
Biography: The God of War and the son of Zeus and Hera. Despite being a full God , Ares has always felt Zeus prefers his half-mortal brother to himself and so he dislikes Zeus and Hercules and likes Hera, siding with her when she tried to usurp Zeus' throne. Although Zeus' protection means he cannot kill Hercules, he tries to make his life as hard for him as possible. He conspired with his nephew Strife to remove Hercules' powers, to kill Hercules' wife Serena and frame Hercules for the crime, but Xena and Zeus helped Hercules clear his name and Ares was not able to ruin his half-brother that way. Ares secretly hopes to be the sole god in Greece and so when the Greek Gods fled to the parallel dimension to escape Dahak he did his best to make sure they could not return, but Hercules managed to get them to come back to Greece. Ares tried again by allying himself with the Titans which his son Evander had released from the Pit of Tartarus, hoping to get them to destroy Olympus. This plan also failed thanks to Hercules.
ATALANTA
Actress: Cory Everson
Biography: Atalanta has never been a traditional woman. Built like a brick outhouse and being a blacksmith meant she has never really been thought of as normal, but both Hercules and Salmoneus could not resist her charms. Atalanta first met Hercules when her apprentice Ximenos had been brainwashed into Ares' child army and she aided Hercules into defeating Ares and his teenage general Aurelius. Ata later stage she helped found and compete in the first Olympic games whrer Salmoneus began to fall in love with her, but she only had eyes for Hercules. Realizing Hercules did not feel the same way, Atalanta decided the only way she was going to be able to settle down with a man was if she started acting like anormal woman. She found a man, but the second he saw her real nature he dumped her. Thinking she could only be happy with Hercules, she builta statue of him as she considered that the nearest thing she would ever get to the real thing. Felling sorry for her,  Hephaestos made the statue come alive and Atalanta was happy at first until the statue was misled by Discord and started causing no end of trouble at Salmoneus' art fair and Hercules was forced to stop it. Atalanta decided it was best to stop living a lie and moved on in her life.
ATTICUS
Actor: Bruce Phillips
Biography: A poor farmer whom Hercules came to the rescue of in Enola. Atticus' wife Lucina had left him after their children were killed and had wound up working in a pleasure palace run by Salmoneus' shifty brother-in-law. When Atticus tried to get her back, he was beaten by Pilot, a regular at the palace who had taken a shine to her. After Pilot was killed, Atticus and Lucina were re-united.
AURELIUS
Actor: Callum Stembridge
Biography: The teenage leader of Ares' child army. Aurelius recruited tear-aways from the local villages and used them in raids for the glory of Ares. When Aurelius' plans to kill Hercules for the God of War failed, Ares materialized and killed Aurelius for his failure before trying to kill Hercules himself.
AUTOLYCUS
Actor:Bruce Campbell
Biography: The self-styled King of Thieves. Hercules first ran into this slippery customer when he framed Iolaus for stealing the royal jewels of King Menelaus of Scyros. Hercules tracked him down to prove his friend's innocence. Since then Autolycus has been both a help and a hindrance to Hercules in his various adventures and while Herc would be the last to admit it, Autolycus can be a good friend. Autolycus eventually got back together with his ex-wife Luscious Deluxe after she almost got him executed.
BELUS
Actor: Stig Eldred
Biography: A slave trader. He tricked a group of refugees into coming with him and then enslaved them and sold them on. When he recaptured Oi-Lan and Cyrus, Hercules rescued them and the other slaves and decided to give Belus a taste of his own medicine. But surely even the cruel slave trader did not deserve being made the love slave of the scariest woman in all Greece?
BLEDAR
Actor: Roy Woolf
Biography: The second-in-command of Goth's barbarian horde. When Goth was captured by Hercules and Iolaus, Bledar besieged them in the abandoned fortress they were hiding in until they released Goth. Iolaus snuck out of the fotress to disassemble Bledar's catapult, but the barbarians caught him. Bledar offered an exchange - Iolaus for Goth. Hercules complied, but Iolaus managed to recapture Goth during the switch.
BLUE PRIEST
Actor: Nathaniel Lees
Biography: This devout servant of Hera was entrusted by her with the task of protecting the young Princess Deianera of Troy until the time came for her to be sacrificed. He succeeded in this task and even manged to aid the Princess' return to Troy by summoning a sea monster to swallow her and transport her to her home city. Once at Troy, he tried to sacrifice Deianera, but was decapitated by Hercules. Hercules thought him dead, but Hera restored him to life and he returned at the wedding of Alcmene to Jason where he summoned another sea-monster to kill Hercules. The monster swallowed Hercules and Jason, but they managed to escape. Realizing he had failed, the Blue Priest threw himself off a cliff to escape, hoping that Hera would let him survive the fall. Whether she did or not remains a mystery.
BROTEAS
Actor: John Sumner
Biography: The leader of band of war refugees, Broteas led them to the cursed town of Parthus which had been abandoned. Broteas stole an ornate chalice from the temple of Hera there and brought Hera's wrath on the refugees. He was hostile to Hercules and Tiersias when they showed up and told the refugees to flee Parthus and journey to Calydon which was protected by Apollo. He refused to go, but the other villagers disagrreed with him. Despite Tiresias warning the refugees that the curse had been brought on them because someone had stolen Hera's chalice, Broteas did not admit to the theft. The chalice was later discovered on his person and the villagers were ready to lynch him. In order to stop that happening, Hercules tossed the chalice far into the distance and Broteas was last seen chasing it madly.
CAMILLA
Actress: Ilona Rogers
Biography: Queen of Meliad and wife of King Iphicles. Meliad has a custom where each year the scared virgins must drink wine blessed by Dionysus. If Dionysus is happy with the current King's rulership, nothing will happen. If the God of Wine is displeased however, the virgins will become possessed and will murder the king and his son would take over. Although Camilla knew her husband to be a good man, she kept having nightmares that the virgins would murder her husband and herself. So she sent he younger son Nestor to find Hercules to make sure there was no foul play at work. Hercules found that Nestor's older brother Pentheus had  messed with the wine so it was cursed by Ares and would send the Virgins mad with bloodlust. Camilla and Iphicles were put into hiding so that no harm would come to them.
CASTOR (I)
Actor: Michael Mizrahi
Biography: Hera entrusted Castor with the task of protecting her vineyard from the nearby villagers. Castor sought to do this by befriending a Cyclops who was being mistreated by the locals and using him to protect the vineyard. The Cyclops began to feel Castor was just using him however, and when he refused to follow Castor's orders, Hera decided Castor was no longer of use to her and had him killed.
CHARIDON
Actor: Patrick Smith
Biography: Hercules and Iolaus found this old man trapped in an old fortress with his daughter Elora. When the fortress had been abandoned, Charidon had been left a prisoner and it was up to Elora to care for him as she could not free him from his chains. Hercules did so and Charidon promptly drank as much wine as possible.
CHARON
Actor: ?, Michael Hurst
Biography: The ferryman who crosses departed souls over the River Styx into the Underworld for two obols. He is annoyed by Hercules because Herc never pays his fare.
CHEIRON
Actor: Kevin Atkinson
Biography: This old friend of Hercules was a satyr and therefore immortal, but he had been mortally wounded and although he could not die from his wound, it caused him never ending pain. Hercules had spent years trying to find a cure for him until he finally succeeded. He lit a torch from the deadly circle of fire and had Cheiron sit in a circle of the flames lit from the torch. These flames healed his wound, but made him mortal.
CLETIS
Actor: Chris Bailey
Biography: A street vendor and member of a group of bigots called the Cretins. Cletis was killed by Deric after the Cretins murdered his wife. Deric claimed it was in self-defence.
CRAESUS
Actor: Mark Ferguson
Biography: Creasus allied himself with Nemis when he stormed Penelope and Marcus' wedding and kidnapped the bride. As his reward, Craesus also kidnapped Penelope's maid-of-honour Cheris. When Hercules led a group to rescue them, Craesus was killed by an arrow shot by Hercules.
CYCLOPS
Actor: Richard Moll
Biography: The Cyclops had been treated like a freak since he was born and so has grown up distrusting humanity. When Castor tried to befriend him in order to use him against some local villagers, the cyclops was quick to agree, but when he met the villager Scilla he began to soften to the villagers and refused to follow Castor's orders. He then aided Hercules in fighting Hera's executioners and the villagers became his friends.
CYRUS
Actor: Nathaniel Lees
Biography: A Persian refugee. He and his fiance Oi-Lan were tricked and captured by the cruel slave-master Belus. Cyrus managed to escape captivity, but when he found out that Hercules has bought Oi-Lan from Belus he tried to kill Hercules and almost succeeded. He and Oi-Lan were re-captured by Belus and Hercules was forced to save them. Cyrus apologized for having attacked Hercules and he and Oi-Lan settled in the area.
