After visting Mars I decided it was time to revist my roots, so back to Canada I went! And you wouldn't believe it?!! It's actually hot here. Who would've thought? I mean, Canada hot? Come on...
Right from Mars I landed in a town called Merritt, it is in British Columbia. Hello...where has it been hiding ALL these years? It's got the best beach and the sun is so warm. It's a good thing I don't get sunburnt. I was out for my morning walk along the beach of Lake Okanagen when I realized there was a few more people out and about then normal...just a few thoasand more or so. I asked what all the fuss was about and I found out that it is a triatholon called the "IRONMAN" It's 3.86 km of swimming, 180.2km bike ride, and a 42.2km run. WOW! I mean that sounds like SO MUCH FUN! I signed up right then and there.
You can see me in the above picture getting ready to start my swim. I'm the only person who isn't where a wet suit. What a bunch of wimps. It is just a little race, I don't know why everyone is so worried. Also, everyone around me keeps talking about training for it. I don't know what the hell they are talking about, who needs to train for a triathalon. Silly, just plain silly.
I finished in record time! 8 Days and 37 minutes! That man behind me stayed with me during the whole race. He kept asking me if I wanted to stop. Hell no, I wasn't going to let him do better then me! Come on, look at that stupid hat he's wearing.
