Kinotiki Estia was founded in April 25, 1985 and takes its name from the Greek Goddess of Hestia. Hestia, is Zeus'sister and the most respected of all the Olympians. She is the Goddess of the hearth, the symbol of home and family. When a colony was to be found, the colonists took with them coals from the hearth of the mother-city with which to kindle the fire on the new city's public hearth. |
