Michael Meyers

Michael "Mr. October" Meyers

Mike Meyers is the Global Hawk Program Chief Test Pilot for Northrup Grumman. He provides guidance and oversight to the RQ-4B Global Hawk aircrew performing developmental flight test at Edwards AFB and production flight test at Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale, CA. He is responsible for safe and professional flight operations in support of flight test demonstrations and product development of manned and unmanned systems. Mr Meyers is a qualified Mission Commander in the Global Hawk in addition to serving as a chase pilot in Northrup Grumman company B-200 King Air aircraft and as ground chase for all Q-4 variants. Mr. Meyers flight experience is in over 24 different aircraft types and previously was the Chief Pilot for a corporation, Assistant Chief Pilot and Base supervisor for an air ambulance, an airline pilot and a carrier-based, combat-experienced light attack pilot in the U.S. Navy that saw combat operations in Desert Storm. He has the distinction of being the very last A-7E Corsair II pilot in the U.S. Navy, Having retired the last aicraft to the desert at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, AZ in November of 1996. Mr. Meyers holds a Master degree in Systems Engineering and a BS in Aerospace Engineering. Personal awards include the Distinguished Flying Cross for heroism in aerial combat, four Meritorious Service Medals for meritorious service, two Air Medals for combat missions flown, three Navy Commendation Medals for heroic achievment in aerial combat, two Navy Commendation Medals for meritorious service, and two Navy Achievement Medals for superior performance. In his spare time, he likes to get young teens involved the basics in Airmenship at the Rosamond Aero Club to further their asperations in achieving a slot to attend the military academy.





Erik Estrada

Erik "Ponchorello" Estrada

Erik Estrada Call sign "Ponch" A former United States Air Force B-52 bomber pilot serving 24 years, retired as the Chief Pilot for the Air Force Combat Flight Instructor course (CFIC) at Barksdale AFB, LA. Mr. Estrada holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from Embry Riddle University as well as a Masters in Engineering from Steven Institute of Technology and a Bachelors of Science degree in Micro Biology from Brigham Young University. Currently, Mr. Estrada is the Lead/Chief Test Pilot for Northrup Grumman's Global Hawk Flight Test program at Edwards AFB, CA. Mr. Estrada has over 8600 total flight hours and over 4000 pilot in command hours in eight different airframes. He has a Multi Engine and Single Engine Air Transport License and a Multi Engine CFII. Mr. Estrada is qualified to fly Cessna 172 and Cessna 182 aircraft and has over 2000 flight hours. Additionally is qualified to fly the Beach B200 King Air and has over 100 hours in type. Some of Mr. Estrada talents involve Astonomy for the past 20 years including the manufacturing of large amateur telescopes and participation in Dr. Russ Genet's Astronomy research seminars as an instructor ans an observer. Mr. Estrada is on the Board of Directors and is the treasurer for the Institute for Student Astronomical Research (InStAR). InStAR promotes the conduct of astronomical research on asteroids, expolants, binary stars, and the Sun by citizen scientist and students. In his spare time, he likes to instruct young teens the basics in Airmenship at the Rosamond Aero Club.





Jengo Fett

Jengo "Goose" Fett

Jengo Fett, Call sign "Goose" A former United States Air Force pilot serving 22 years, retired as the Assistant Director of Operations for the 452d Flight Test Squadron. A former USAF C-130 and RQ4 RPA pilot served as the units flight Safety officer ensured the implementation of units flight safety program while executing assistant director of operations duty. Mr. Fett is a qualified mission commander and formation lead pilot trained to airdrop equipment and personnel over hostile environments. Mr. Fett while ADO and Chief of Training for the 36th Airlift Squadron, Yokota AB, Japan. Lead a management team of enlisted Aviation Resource Managers to excute training and scheduling of over 140 combat crew members executing Higher Headquarters’ worldwide missions. Deployed as ADO for Operation Iraqi Freedom’s largest tactical airlift operation moving over 37 thousand passengers, and a million tons of cargo. Flew as an aircraft commander on multiple humanitarian missions for OPERATION CARING RESPONSE delivering lifesaving cargo to a cyclone ravaged Myanmar. Mission Commander for the Joint POW/MIA Accounting Command. Tasked with flying in and out of SE Asia delivering the found remains of our fallen comrades back to the United States. Mr. Fett's is qualified pilot in C-130E, C-130H, RQ-4A/B Blocks 10-40, T-44, T-34C, C-182RG, C-172S (G-1000), T-41C, C-152. Mr. Fett holds a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the Air Force Acadamy and a minor in Geology. Mr. Fett has over 4000 total flight hours as a C-130E/H Aircraft Commander as well as over 800 hours in the Cessna 182RG and C172S G1000. In his spare time, he flys with the Los Angeles county Sheriff department to provide eyes in the sky to aid officers as they serve the community.
