Childhood: Jessie's mum and dad divorced when she was just 3 and her mum left so her dad brought the family up on his own. Jessie used to and see her mum on weekends. She left home when she was 21.
School: Jessie attended a school called Kingsmead in Enfield. She left with no qualifications. She wasn't a perfect pupil! One day when she was smoking in the toilets a girl came in with a head full of hair- spray. Jessie flicked her lighter and the girls hair went up in flames! Jessie said she started banging the girls head until it went out! Thankfully it went out without too much trouble. She then attended the College Of East London in Tottenham to study Theatrical & Media Make-Up. Two years later she got a job at the Royal Shakespeare Company. It was there that she realised she wanted to become an actress so she started a 'self-help' class at an acting school called The Poor School. Just a couple of months after leaving she got the part of Kat Slater in Eastenders!

Piercings: Jessie has her ears pierced. When she was a teenager she wanted her belly-button pierced so she went to a local blokes house who did piercings at his home. He stuck a large needle that looked like a kebab stick through her belly button, Jessie didn't realise he was drunk till after he'd done it and she now has a large, wonky scar on her belly-button.
