Please make sure that any characters that are members of the Hearts have been signed up using the
Join page.  Characters cannot start advancing through the guild, nor can they earn ranks and awards, without first being signed up.

Clusters:

Clusters are awarded to bearers of the various orders who have continued to gain ranks within their orders, but are not as yet eligible to receive the next level.

Each silver cluster represents an additional Honor and each gold cluster represents an additional Medallion.

Additional Crests and Crowns are listed separately, but once a character receives Mastery in an order he no longer accrues rewards
Awards

Titles
As characters advance in level, within their Orders, and through their Departments, they become eligible to recieve titles representing the work they've accomplished, the respect they've earned, and the tasks they've completed.  To recieve a title the character must first meet its minimum requirements, then he must seek out a sponsoring officer for a title quest.  Once that quest is completed the character will recieve his new title in a guild cerimony, and well as any ranks or awards that go with it.

Departmental Titles
Beyond the Orders that are available to all characters, each department has a list of titles that are available to its members.  Most of these titles have a level requirement, and many require a sponsor or special quests, but they are the easiest way to advance in rank within the guild.  The titles available to each Department vary.
Titles by Department
Battlemasters Faithbringers Keepers of the Mysteries Silentwalkers Spellsingers Summoners
Swordlord High Priest Master of the Arts Shadowmaster Master of Song Lord of Legions
Swordcaptain Battlepriest Warwizard Shadowstalker Songweaver Lord of Legions
Highknight Highknight Highknight Highknight Highknight Highknight
Knight Knight Knight Knight Knight Knight
Blade Priest Mage Rogue Master of Arts Lord of Legions
Foot Soldier Acolyte Apprentice Footpad Master of Arts Lord of Legions

Lords
These officers represent their Departments as Lord Marshals, and are able to assign other members tests for knighthood. They are also responsible for teaching new members of their departments the finer points of filling their roll within a group and about the skills and abilities available to them.  Characters must be at least 45th level to reach this rank, and must accomplish a series of tasks for the greater good of the guild.

Capatains
These characters are appointed by the Circle of Lords to represent the heads of their Departments when the Lords are not available. Characters must be of at least 40th level to be eligible for this rank, and must accomplish a task set for them by the guildmaster.  Once the character recieves this title he is promoted to the rank of Keeper of the Heart.

Highknights
Knights who reach 35th level may seek out their lords for another task. Once this task is completed the knight rises in rank to Highknight, and no longer needs a sponsor, freeing his lord to choose another knight.  Upon recieving this title the character is promoted to the rank of Valorous.

Knights
Once a character reaches 20th level he may seek out an officer to sponsor his rise to knighthood. Each officer may only sponsor one knight. The knight then must accomplish a task given to him by his lord; once the task is complete the character receives his new rank, and is expected to act as his lords advocate in all things.  All knights recieve the rank of Advocate.

Sergeants
Characters who have reached 10th level may request a task from the leader of their department. Once this task is completed they will receive their new title.

Privates
All characters of at least 5th level are eligible for this title.

Titles of the Orders
Like the departments listed above, each Order has titles available for those who excel in one area.  Each of these titles is based on the Order in which the character has recieved the most awards.

Champion of the <Order>
Only one Champion of each order may hold office at one time, and a player must have received a Mastery in the Order to be eligible to hold this position. Champions are considered Lord Marshals, and can present honors of up to Crest rank from their orders to worthy members of the guild.

Defender of the <Order>
Those who receive a Crown within an order become eligible for the title of Defender. Defenders aid the champions of their orders in dealing with new members interested in advancing along their path, and each is concidered a Keeper of the Heart, charged with serving in place of the Champion when he is not available.

Highknight of the <Order>
Those Hearts who Recieve a Crest in an Order become eligible for the title of Highknight.  Theses characters hold the rank of Valorous within the guild, and it is their duty to assist lower-ranking members in designing and completing tasks related to their Order.

Knight of the <Order>
Characters who recieve a Medallion in an Order become eligible for knighthood.  Once they have completed their title quests they are promoted to the rank of Advocate, and may begin choosing their squires (see below).

Squires
Each knight may choose up to two squires to sponsor on their rise through the ranks. The squires iare expected to tend to their knight, aid him in his endeavors, and accompany him into battle. In return the knight is expected to aid his squires in the accomplishment of guild tasks and help them to rise in level more rapidly.
