My Triumph Spitfire "1500"
Ready to install... The bonnet was painted by the same guy who did the repairs after the rollover - Glen Phillips of "Glen's Pain And Body" in Fremont, Nebraska.  Glen did a nice job of welding up the cracks around the headlight openings and latch handles.    He also did a great job removing the large dent in the nose and the small hail dents we found all over the place.  The paint is a good match, even after the original paint work has aged a couple years.  The small hail dents still looked rough from underneath, but I wanted to put a insulating blanket under there anyway. I got a roll of double-sided foil lined bubble wrap, and cut out a couple of pieces to fit.  3M Spray-On adhesive was applied to the insulation blanket and the underside of the bonnet.  Aluminum tape was used around the edges and over the seams.  Some truck bed-liner material was sprayed in the wheel wells. The bonnet brace tubes and mounting plates were powder coated in a satin black color.  I bolted the support tubes back in with stainless steel bolts through galvanized washers.  New halogen lights were installed, along with new bonnet locating cones, and now the bonnet assembly is ready to be put back on the car.
