<<Ruby / Sapphire - Pokemon Statistics Screens>>
The Statistics Screens - the most vital part of getting to know your Pokemon. The screens have surely adapted over the years. Back in RBY it was a mere 2 pages of Pokemon statistics, and when GSC came, it became 3 pages. And now that we have reached the age of Ruby & Sapphire, we will be using 4 detailed Pokemon Stats Screens! Here's a description of what each page displays: |
NOTE: Each of the four stats pages contains the Pokemon's number, image, name, level, and the Pokeball in which it was captured.
First Page: Pokemon Info - The top section displays the Original Trainer, Trainer ID, and the Pokemon's type(s). - The middle shows the Pokemon's Ability. - The bottom section tells you the Pokemon's Nature, the level you caught it at, and where you first encountered it. |
Second Page: Pokemon Skills - Shows you what item your Pokemon is holding - How many Ribbons it has won from the Pokemon Contests - Shows Stats: HP, Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense, Speed - Shows how much Experience the Pokemon has earned and how much more it will need for the next level |
Third Page: Battle Moves - Here you can view a list of the Pokemon's attacks/moves. By pressing the A button once, you can highlight each move and read its description. By pressing the A button a second time, you can switch the order of the selected move with another. |
Third Page: Contest Moves - Similar to the third page, except here you can view how the Pokemon's moves apply to the Contests. Each Pokemon move will have a different effect when used in a contest. So if you're planning on raising a Pokemon specialized for one or two certain contest categories, then I suggest picking your moves wisely. As you can see from the image to your left, the Kyogre has moves that are compatible for Tough and Beauty Contests. |
