| How do I sign up for classes? Call Heather Tega at 217-553-8285. A registration form and waiver will be sent to you. Return the registration form, waiver, and money due and you are then registered for class. How do I recieve my first free class? Just call Heather Tega at 217-553-8285 and notify her of what class time and date you would like to attend. Do I need a jogging stroller to participate? No. Your stroller should be comfortable for you to push and for your child to sit. Any stroller aside from an umbrella stroller is usually safe and sturdy enough for the class design. How old should my child be? As long as your child is at least six weeks old you can participate in class. Ages of children currently enrolled range from 10 weeks to 3 and one half years old. The combination of being outdoors, constant moving and being interest in the other adults and children in class helps kids remain content during class. Most children become accustommed to your new workout regiman within three class periods. What if my baby becomes fussy during class? Stollerobics takes a "baby comes first" approach. There are several areas in the class routes for mothers to stop to tend to their child. When the mother is ready, she can rejoin the class. Instuctors make every effort to provide an environment that enables children to be content. What should I bring to class? You should bring your baby and whatever stroller your baby and you are comfortable with. In addition, you and your baby should be dressed appropriately for the weather. Sunscreen, water and a towel for floor work are also a must. What is the weather policy? Class may be held if it is windy or with a very light drizzle. You should bring an appropriate cover for your stroller to protect your baby. Covers can be purchased at various baby supply stores or on-line. If the weather is questionable and you have not gotten a call within 30 minutes of class start you can call your instructor. If class is cancelled due to weather, a make-up voucher will be given that can be used within three months of cancellation. What if I must miss class for personal reasons? If you must miss one of your schedules classes due to sickness, doctors appointment, or some other personal reason please just notify your instructor ahead of time. The class can be made up at another time and day within six weeks of your missed class. |
