The NASCAR boys are in Vegas this weekend, keep an eye on Jeff Burton and Mark Martin, Jeff won the Busch race pole and Mark's always strong at that track.
Guess it's a bad week for NC public servants. Be sure to read down to the part where they tell what fire department this guy was chief of...it explains a lot. They should probably check out the mayor and the police chief too.
Mmmm rotten fish, one delicacy you won't see on the Food Channel. Sheep eyes are another culinary treat served in Iceland. They really need to get off that little island more.
Steal programs with your iPod! Or sensitive company p0rn files. 200 meg in seconds....holy crap, I need one of these.
In other blogging news I had a dream last night that Rush Limbaugh put up an article on his site listing all the blogs he read, and mine was on there! I was pretty stoked. Of course the weird part was that he mentioned my hardheaded little cannoli as his favorite blogger (cause she's so dang shexy), and she doesn't even have one. Also, all the blogs he mentioned were made by people I know.
Grr I got an e-mail last night from my gracious hosts at geocities saying that they're dropping FTP services April 2 unless you start paying for a "premium" package, which basically just means that free geocities sites will become text-only unless you have somewhere else to host your pictures, and no more blogging. Time to start looking for an alternative home for the times, I guess.... hopefully one with no ads. I'll keep you posted.
Yeehaw! My favorite album of last year, the O Brother soundtrack, racked up at the Grammys tonite, including Best Album. Let's hear it for inbred hillbilly music!
Oddtodd gets shafted by the man. I guess he should've known that the lazy bureaucrats at the Department of Labor are surfing the net (on your dime) instead of working and would find him eventually.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!! Yes, it was one year ago today that the times opened its pages to the world, exposing millions (OK hundreds) to culture and information that they might have missed otherwise. Thanks for your support and I love ya!!! Happy Monday! (PS - I'm going to Georgia today, so no updates till I get back) Want more? Check the archives
