I HEART U! rub my belly this one's for Tig Keyser Sose or Lester Burnham? I'm a happy boy!
Hard Times
USA!

Man, it is a small world. I went to this fancy shindig last night, and while I was there I saw this guy who looked very familiar. Sure enough, it was the guy, he had been my division officer when I was a young squidley on the Hunley (no, not that Hunley) in Holy Loch, Scotland back in 1984! I had not seen him in almost 18 years. Turns out he retired from the Navy last year and is working for one of the big financial hoohahs downtown. Looking at the pictures on that Holy Loch site sure brings back a lot of memories, some good, some bad, most a blur of fine whiskey and sassy lassies. Buy me a drink sometime and I'll tell you some good sea stories.

You can no longer call yourself a true redneck until you've had your picture made with this.

The Adventures of Nekkid Woman! She was possessing drug paraphernalia? Where was she hiding it?? Dirty minds wanna know!

Your ass is on the web, and I'm afraid it isn't looking very perky today. (stolen from 3bruces)

I smell job security!!

Who wants some Canadian skater booty? I'm smilin!

Finally a use for all those Yahoo News photos. Go check out captions blog!

With Valentine's Day quickly approaching, I've found the perfect gift for that jackass/bitch who dumped you last year.

While on the subject of ZDNet, legendary tech blowhard John Dvorak has done a blog piece now. Hmm, I wonder if he plays Counter Strike????

OK in the interest of fairness I'll point out that Trillian couldn't connect to Yahoo yesterday (not sure about today). In the case of Yahoo, however, it could be deliberate blocking, or it's more likely that Yahoo's messed up (again). Their e-mail is broken at the moment, maybe that's why I haven't heard back on the hard strike challenge lol. Coursey over at ZDNet says AOL is completely justified in their bastardly behavior, they're claiming it's a "security concern". This, my friends, is a security concern...not legitimate users connecting to your system via some way other than your patented Spamadelic(tm) client.

Happy Birthday to my hardheaded little cannoli.....I hope you have a good one! Thanks for what has been quite a year, and for showing me that even loudmouthed Yankees can have good hearts. And that's as mushy as I'm gonna get here, I got a rep to protect.

Is your computer acting sluggish? Doing goofy things? Don't waste money on computer repair shops, go here and learn how to defraggle your motherdisc, they make it so easy! While you're there, update your video card so that you don't lag out in Counter Strike when some llama tosses a smoke grenade. (Note: use the navigator to get to the other steps in the procedures)

GAME ON!!!

No big news today, no word from laurita on whether or not she'll take me on, and no other challengers stepping up. In other news, Goobita does have some new webcam shots today, and these actually look candid.....I guess her lighting and hair guys take Sundays off.

Ken Lay lawyers up. Maybe he should send his wife to Washington to tell those mean old Congressmen what an honest guy he is, and how broke he is.

Time Magazine covers blogging. Dang, it's so easy, even a reporter can do it! Guess it's time for all the trendy folks to move on to the next thing, which is gonna be strip backgammon.

Well I was a little off on the score, but I got the winner right!! Congrats Patriots!

GAME ON!!!

CNN isn't covering it yet, but Operation Hard Strike was launched today! Go look!

Speaking of athletic competitions, if last night's Nintendo matchup at hard times HQ is any indication, the Patriots will come away with a 30-0 win in today's Super Bowl. Yes, I was the Rams and yes, it was a 7 year old kid that cleaned my clock. In my defense, it was my first time playing the game, and the quarters were only 5 minutes long, so it took me the whole game to figure out that he was running a goal line defense every single down.
