| We have yet another participant in the head shave! Jeff RAAB, Customer Service Supervisor with | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| the Alberta Treasury Branch in Hanna. Jeff has pledge sheets set up at the bank, so drop in and | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| support him with some pledges! As well, Jeff has agreed to "get the party started" by having his | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| head shaved at 2:00pm on Friday, May 5, 2006, at the Alberta Treasury Branch! Let's get in | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| there are watch him kick off the Hanna Cops4Cancer festivities! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| And during the big day at The Legion on May 6, Tony RAFAAT of TR Photography will be offering | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| professional photographs of adults, kids and families. Between 11:00am and 3:00pm, you can have | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| your picture taken wearing a police hat and in the driver's seat of an RCMP car, wearing a fire- | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| fighter's helmet and in the driver's seat of a Hanna Fire Dept. fire truck, while shaving the head of a | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| participant or with a participant after the head shave! Tony is donating his services and is asking that | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| a donation be made for each photo (suggested donation of $10). | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| The Hanna Cops4Cancer head shaving event has officially entered onto a whole new level! We now | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| have two sets of a parent & child getting their heads shaved together at The Legion on May 6!! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Shane GALARNEAU, a grade 3 student at Hanna Primary School, is now collecting pledges to have | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| his head shaved with his mother, Corinne GALARNEAU. As well, Chris OLSEN and his son Cole | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| OLSEN, a kindergarten student at Hanna Primary School, will be collecting pledges to have their | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| heads shaved together! This now makes 17 people who have agreed to participate in the event with | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| a head shave; as well we have a husband & wife duo, a mother & son duo, a father & son duo and an | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| RCMP officer from outside Alberta. Of note, I encourage you to read why Cole is participating in the | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

| We have received some fantastic items for our silent auction! Ken Fleishaker of Ken's Fix It has | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| donated an awesome handcrafted wooden pool cue case. Exlco has donated two cool leather | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| gym/duffel bags. And Alberta Treasury Branch has donated a certificate for a "personal savings | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| account with NO service charges for a year with a safety deposit box for a year"; this is worth $350! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| Kevin BURGEMEISTER will join Jeff RAAB and both will get their heads shaved in an early bird | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| head shave at 2:00pm on May 5 at the Hanna branch of the Alberta Treasury Branch. The ATB will | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| also be hosting a BBQ during the early bird event, selling hotdogs and hamburgers to raise funds for | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| the Hanna Cops4Cancer event. The BBQ will be operated between noon and 2pm. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| On the main event day on May 6, Ginny's Flowers will be selling 100 carnation flowers for $1 each, | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
| with 100% of the proceeds going to Hanna Cops4Cancer! | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
