Herald's Corner

Hello, as the new Thunderbolt Pursuivant I am going to have my little corner here in the Thunderbolt.
As you know, Mistress Hastini has been teaching a Heraldry class. This class covers the advanced portions of heraldry (blazons, OP, etc), but is very informative. Besides, it is a great chance to see me being picked upon. This class is being held at Cochise College on "off" Tuesdays. Contact me, or any of the other Officers for specific information.
The Mons Tonitrus website has a new home, and the heraldry portion is constantly being updated. As my files are being sorted out, I find more info that has been left out. What you can do to help me, and the heraldry office in general, is to visit (if possible) the heraldry portion of our website, find your name, and let me know if I have the right info on the page. And if, for some reason, you are not on the page, let me know.
     Thank you,
In Service to the Dream
Sean Donald of Caithness
Thunderbolt Pursuivant

Town Crying at Estrella War

Unto Town Criers, Site Heralds and all those with loud voices:
Oyez, Oyez ... cough, cough, wheeeeeeeeeze .... ahem --
Estrella War is coming!                   Estrella War is coming!

I'm Master Erik Loren Elcara, in charge of Town Crying again this year.
I need volunteers to help with the site announcing duties. You may sign up in advance of the War with the Volunteer Autocrat at [email protected], to help with Town Crier duties. Or, you may contact me directly at:
Jim Dana, 1334 Stable Glen Drive, North Las Vegas, NV 89031
(Home-evening) 702-648-7610    (Work-weekdays) 702-642-9500
or email at [email protected]

You may visit me at the war at Town Cryer's point. Sign-up slots are available for 2-3 heralds on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at each of the following times: 8:30AM 11:30AM 2:30PM 5:30PM
In addition, on-call slots are available each day for 1 herald each for AM, PM and evening shifts. On-call means "Oh-No, the schedule changed or someone's lost etc."  When you volunteer as an on-call herald you will need to provide campsite location, so that emergency notices can be brought to your campsite.
