I'm Master Erik Loren Elcara, in charge of Town Crying again this year.

You may visit me at the war at Town Cryer's point. Sign-up slots are available for 2-3 heralds on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at each of the following times: 8:30AM 11:30AM 2:30PM 5:30PM
In addition, on-call slots are available each day for 1 herald each for AM, PM and evening shifts. On-call means "Oh-No, the schedule changed or someone's lost etc."  When you volunteer as an on-call herald you will need to provide campsite location, so that emergency notices can be brought to your campsite.

the Executive Assistant to the Board of Directors

    At the July meeting, and after directing the Society Seneschal to consult with the Kingdom Seneschals, the Board of Directors decided the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc. will not sponsor a 35th Year Anniversary Celebration.
    Needless to say, any kingdom or branch that wishes to commemorate this anniversary is free to do so.
    In future, the SCA, Inc. will sponsor anniversary celebrations only on the 10-year anniversaries (20, 30, 40, etc.) along with 25- and 75-year anniversaries.
    The Fortieth Anniversary of the founding of the Society will be May 1, 2006.  The Society Seneschal and the Executive Assistant to the Board are preparing a call for bids to host this celebration, which will be published in all kingdom newsletters.  If you have any suggestions on what should be included, please contact them.
