I dropped out of school and have no job to boot thus I could no longer afford the print version of Guttural Sickness Zine at this time. Consequently, I decided to turn Guttural Sickness back into a Webzine format. This is a better alternative as opposed to stopping all the shit I’ve already done. Also, I can make my shit quicker and things will be easier in terms of public viewing. And if you think that webzines are gay then you’re a narrow-minded elitist fag! I do all these by myself. I don’t do it for the money or for the cool promo stuff (which isn’t much) but for my undying passion for extreme musick! But who knows? Life’s uncertain after all. I might meet a rich hag who’ll be more than willing to fund the printing of Guttural Sickness Zine. Hahaha! Keep checking back as I'm always puking new purulent mess! If you'd like to get your stuff reviewed in GUTTURAL SICKNESS ZINE, please send your releases to the address below.

12/12/2007: What the fuck is up with you sickos? Here’s some info on the most recent happenings on the Philippine Brutal Death/Gore/Grind scene. Starting off with the local bands in Luzon, First off, Down from the Wound has been signed to Sevared Records (USA) and have just recently released their debut album entitled “Agony Through Rituals of Self Purification” and printing some shirts as well. They’re probably on of the best slamming brutal death metal band around here. Pus Vomit just recently released a 3way split with Jesus Corpus and Innards Decay under Reverb Productions (Malaysia). And for those of you who missed their demos, check “Vomit the Dead” out released by Sewer Records (Greece). It’s a compilation of 3 demos and an unreleased live track entitled “Retching Lacerated Entrails”. Other releases under their belt are: “Vomit the Abdominal Pus” (Berdugo Records, Philippines), “Split Disembowelment” split with DFTW (Condemned/Berdugo Records), and Split tape with Venereal Disease (Spain) under Brute Productions (Thailand). They are currently working on the new songs for the full length expected to be devour by 2008. Goresoaked Guttural Brutality!!! Phlegm Thrower is a sort of groovy gore/porn grind band and throws a lot of absurdity into their musick. Currently released “For the men who love the women who loves the Pain”, 6 way split with Satsugai, Malignant Germ Infestation, Bukakke Commando Violence, Epileptic Fistfuck and Grumo under the French label, Show Me Your Tits Records. Other ejaculations are “I Spit Phlegm into Your Mutilated Cunt!” split with Kunt Destroyer released under Parkinson Wankfist Pleasures (Germany). “Repugnant Birth of Extirpated Anomalies” 3 way split with Septic Chyme and Exophotic Goiter released under Deadites Records (Bosnia) and “Premature Ejaculation 2007” released under Berdugo Records (Philippines). Other releases planned this 2008 are; split with Smallpox Aroma (Thailand), Split with DxIxLxS (France), split with Proctalgia (Philippines) and various compilations. Watch out for the forthcoming split tape with Motherpig (Bosnia), to be released by Mental Abuse Records (France) by early 2008. Toxemia has not been active as far as playing live, but currently released a split tape with Ego Death (Greece) released by Undergrind Productions (Canada). Condemned, drunk as fuck grindcore band hailing from Manila. They have a full Length (52 tracks!!!) out entitled “…From Suffering”. If you are familiar to bands like Phobia or early stuff with Anal Cunt then you might get the idea what these guys are going for. Religious Nightmare is another Grind/Crust band hailing From Manila. They have a new cd out called “The Junkyard of Infinity”, this is one of the best materials I’ve heard locally and seeking for some label to release their filth. Loss of Control is a fine example of a band that plays extreme, sick and guttural brutal death/grind with sludgy elements and technical diversity. Just finished recording materials for their full length entitled “Begging for hate and crime”, I am calling the attention of labels reading this shit, check this band out now!!! Herpes have released a demo entitled “Orgy as a Social Activity”. They are playing some sort of splatter gore grind noise. Working on some new songs to be released next year on 7”... Southern Brutality Sickness motherfuckers! Southside represents! Human Mastication just recently signed to Sevared Records (USA) for a debut full length to be released on 2008. Releases under their belt are; split with Rotten Cold (Reverb Prod, Malaysia), split with Corpse Carving (Sonic Corruption, Australia) and the split with Flesh Disgorged released under Sevared Records,USA. Watch out for the full length, it’ll be sick as fuck for sure!! Almoranas is another great groovy death metal band playing in the Davao scene. Check out their split tape with Necrocannibalistic Vomitorium at Brute Productions, Thailand. Proctalgia is probably one of the sickest goregrind/noise acts down south. They have 2 releases out at the moment; split with Anal Whore and “The Most Devastating Bands on The Planet”, 5 way split with A Child Corpse in a Thrash Bag, Faeces Eruption, Fece Vomitatie and Intestinal Disgorge, released under Divine Noise Entertainment and recently got signed to Klysma Records for their debut full length, grind/noise freaks watch out! Brimestone in Fire are making a cumback in the scene, they’ve been playing some gigs and currently on the process of mutilating new materials for their debut full length and a split with Pathogen. While I am still on the subject, Pathogen unleashed "Into The Subconscious Void" demo on 300 hand-numbered cassettes under Nihilistic Music (Brazil). Some other bands brutalizing the scene and definitely bands to watch out for are: Abaddon, Abdominal Defecation, Aggressive Dog Attack, Aktarma Suicide, Catalepsis, Chamber 69, Chaos Cycle, Chronic Imapalement, Coarse, Corpse Breeder, Comatose, Defecated, Defector, Demise, Disabuse, Disastrous, Disgorgement, Downgrave, Erectile Dysfunction, Execration, Execution of Terror, Fetal Mutilation, Guttural Putridity, Internal Torture, Lamaw, Lapida, Last Vigil, Malaria, Necrosis, Noise Conspiracy Project, Nuclear Punishment, Paraconflict, Roots of Torment, Sexual Sadism, Stinkyheads & Vex. Another local addition to the scene to watch out for is Existential Obliteration Art, this fucker mutilates brutal/gore artworks in black and white, and do so for free. Obliteration art has lately been a great contributor to the scene, especially to those bands who are planning on printing some shirts, and zines who are in need of some sick artworks. To those bands who are in need of logos, and are interested in having one done, check out Splatter Project and have it done for free. He also ejaculates banners, posters, flyers, and simple websites as well. Be sure to check it out.
