Born February 12, 1809, in a log cabin on a farm in Hardin County, Kentucky. He was the 16th president of the United States, during the
civil war that engulfed the states. He was the president that was against slavery in the U.S. and during his time on this world he fought
against it, as best he could. No one will ever know what this grate man could have done with the rest of his life for on the night of April 14, 1865, in the Ford tearter, an assassin's bullet ended his life.
