Born into a wealthy New York City family on October 27, 1858. Theodore grew up a sickly child. He became the 26th president after the assassination of William McKinley in 1901. During this time he was the dominate political figure until the first world war. During his seven years in office, he revised the Sherman Anti-Trust act, to brake up the nation's largest corporations, including the railroad and steel industries. How ever in 1908 he decide not to run for office again, but in 1919, when he was going to run for office again, he died in his sleep.
