Meetings and Events

DATE / EVENT   PLANNED ACTIVITY 
January 20 - Father-Daughter Dance  Sock Hop Dance with your dad!
January 22 - Regular Meeting  Troop will begin work for International Day. 
February 12 - Regular Meeting Scouts are to research Argentina and come up with
a game and craft booth for International Day.
We will also make Valentine crafts and exchange Valentines.
February 26 - Regular Meeting  Troop will work on International Day t-shirts, and finalize work on the booth, as well as make decorations. 
March 4 - Regular Meeting  Back to Sunday meetings! We will tole paint a doll!
March 11 - International Day  International Day! 
March 18 - Regular Meeting
Happy Birthday Girl Scouts!

We will have a party!!! 
 

April 1 - Regular Meeting Troop will begin work for Youth Expo
April 15 - Regular Meeting Troop will continue working for Youth Expo.
We will also make presents for Mother's Day.
April 27-29 - Youth Expo weekend  
May 6 - Regular Meeting  
May 20 - Regular Meeting Troop will work on Father's Day presents.
June 6 - Regular Meeting  
June 16 - Court of Awards

Welcome Back!

The Troop welcomed our new Scouts.
Scouts developed a budget, and decided how to spend that money for meeting activities/events. Scouts also decided on a new "process" for snacks. Check Snack schedule please for latest and greatest! Scouts brainstormed theme ideas for the Junior Lock in.
September 24 - Regular Meeting Troops discussed new Patrol process and role of Patrol leader. We completed fall product Sale packet. Scouts made a "Camp Frame" for the Mother Daughter Camp Sherman weekend. Scouts also discussed upcoming Ceremony. Troop made final decisions on junior Lock in... Brownies were busy collecting pine cones for Trefoil crafts, while Juniors discussed Bronze Award.
October 6 - Bronze Award Kick off Meeting Second year Juniors are ready to begin working on their Bronze Award. The kick off meeting was to familiarize Scouts with the Award. Lots of great ideas!
October 13-15 - Camp Sherman Mother Daughter Trip Troop had a great time attending the Mother Daughter weekend!

October 22 - Regular Meeting The Troop elected the Color Guard for the upcoming Ceremony. We discussed International Day, Junior Lock in and began working on the Trefoil Bazaar
October 29 - Rededication & Investiture Ceremony
Investiture/Rededication Ceremony for family and friends!
November 9 - Craft Night We're making crafts for the Trefoil Bazaar!
November 11 - Food Drive and Fall Booth Sale Two for One! Troop will perform Community Service supporting the Second Harvest Food Drive as well as holding a Fall Product Booth Sale!
November 12 - Regular Meeting Troop made crafts for Trefoil Boutique.
We also discussed ideas for International Day.
November 16 - Craft Night We made crafts for the Trefoil Bazaar!
November 19 - Regular Meeting Troop made crafts for Trefoil Boutique and Thanksgiving
December 1 - Special Event

Community Service "Santa's Arrival"
 The Troop provides manpower at the Club's Annual Santa's Arrival.
December 10 - Regular Meeting We're preparing Holiday Gifts
January 7 - Regular Meeting Cancelled
January 12-13- Special Event
Junior Lock in
Troop hosts Junior Lock In.
January 14 - Regular Meeting What do we want to do with our Cookie money? Where do we want to go? What do I want to learn about Cookie Sale?  Girls will discuss and set Troop Goal. Bridging Brownies will discuss their Service Projects.
