The Origins of the elusive Gronkydoodle are somewhat sketchy. It seems the story of the Gronkydoodle goes back to the early 1950's. They were first made public by Wiccan author, Al Manning, in the 80's. He made them public subtley - in a poem. The poems with Gronkydoodles first appeared in his book, Helping Yourself With White Witchcraft. The Gronkydoodle part of one of his poems can be found at the bottom of each page of this site. Gronkydoodles also appear in Mr. Manning's Invocation to Little People. We have Mr. Manning to thank for bringing this cover-up to light. Our eyewitness accounts suggest that Gronkydoodles are part of the fairy/gnome family. In city environments, they seem to like living in people's toilets.
