My Story: A Journey of a Thousand Miles
Ironically, my work career begin in the restaruant industry. Like most teenagers at fifteen with their first job working in fast food was a necessary evil. From flipping burgers, mopping floors, and working continuouly to keep the salad bar stock. Hate or love it this was my first taste of the restaurant industry. One take away from this is I learned a valuable lesson in customer service.
My next step in life wasn't a customary one for a future restaurant owner. I didn't attend college for business or go to a Culinary Art school. I signed up to serve my country in the United States Marine Corps. The obvious take away for me was the discipline but the military provided a platform for me to travel for free of course and to interact with other cultures and share their food. The commonality within any culture is that great food and human interaction is the epicenter and it brings us closer.
I would definitely love to hear your journey and why you decided to dine at Savour. The most important aspect of the industry is the human interaction. Click the "Contact Me" button to get started.
