Nargraths


ST Mission: Fear Nargraths are nightmares made flesh, they are about 7 1/2 feet (2 3/4 meters) tallonce they have hatched. They are horribly deformed and covered in an acid that burns through anything, albeit slowly. They are sentient but their language of barks and screams is not understandable by humans short of telepathy (CD 4 to understand well.) Despite their appearance they are not concerned with causing the characters physical harm, they want to possess them, which they can do by touching a character (Roll willpower in a resistested roll, highest number wins.) At the moment of possession, the nargrath disappears as that it now has a new body. If a character is possessed, they revert to ST control and can play Sparky. The character at that point will be living out their own worst nightmare and will act as such, (read: completely out of control) the other characters may have to restrain their friend if the nightmare is violent in nature.

The only way to rid a character of possession is to find the Flux and ask. The other option is to kill the character. If the character is freed of the nargrath, they will have no memory of anything that happened and may be unlikely to believe the stories. To kill a nargrath should be CD 3 or more.
