As the characters approach, the ball of light shifts more rapidly and takes a human like shape. The Flux will take an androgenous shape and smile at the characters in a welcoming manner.
At this point there are several options for how to run this. I split up the players and ran it on a one on one basis. I told them that they could no longer see the other characters, but this didn't worry them, the persecptive would know that it was the Flux supressing any sort of panic or fear to make sure that they felt comfortable. I think my players got more out of it this way, plus they had plenty of time to B.S. out of character and visit.
You can also run it with all the characters present at the same time and let them deal with the situation together. The choice is really up to you.
Regardless of what you decide, the Flux will be kindly disposed towards the characters unless they went on a rampage before entering Gotshom. The conversation can go any direction, have fun with it. (One of my players asked the Flux who had taken a femaleish form out on a date.) However it goes, leave the players with the impression that they just met the creating force.
