My name is Chris Mangoutas. I studied law at the University of Athens (Nomiki Sholi). I practiced law as a member of DSA (Dikigorikos Syllogos Athinon, Athenian Lawyers' Association) for several years before I emigrated to Canada. I have ten credit courses at the Philosophical School (University of Athens) and also 6 out of 8 political science courses at a Masters' Degree at York University, Toronto.
My Office currently collaborates directly from Toronto with approximately 35 lawyers in Greece, who cover almost 80% of the Greek territory. All other areas are covered by my main Office in Athens.
My Office covers all areas of legal matters except pensions in Greece.
I thank the people of Toronto and Ontario who in 2005 made my office the first in Diaspora according toy data by the Taxation Deartment of Athens - Residents Abroad (with more than 1000 E9 applications and more than 1300 AFM numbers).
In 90% of the cases our collaboration starts with a study of your case and then my advise to you as how to protect your rights in Greece. Then my Office can either take care of the whole of your case or prepare all what is needed to start your case in Greece (Power of Attorney, Official translations etc).
My clients are 100% protected. You will know from the beginning what your cost will be. If there is a complication in your case (Courts etc) you will be informed in advance. If you sell a property in Greece the cheque will in your name, not mine or my associate's and held in trust until all agreed cost is paid.
Although I have a "monopoly", as the only Greek Legal Consultant in Ontario, my prices are very reasonable!
Best Regards
Chris Mangoutas
