If I find any links that I feel might help you with your web pages, they will be listed here also.

Web Supplies

I am a firm believer in paying as little for things as I can so, after seeing what people get when they pay for web space, I went looking for places that would offer for FREE the same or almost the same as the cheap places do.  Free web sites do have one drawback, they have ads. So watch out what you sign up for, check their Terms of Service to see what kind of ads they will put on your site.  You don't want a G-rated site with X-rated ads.  The National wouldn't like it either.

*IMO: you don't have to give your real name or address to sign up.  Set up a free account at hotmail.com or yahoo.com and use a screen name, then use this account to sign up for your free web site. You might think about using the same name on your email account as you use for your web site, then direct all communications to that address instead of your "real" one to avoid alot of spam getting to your computer.

WebShots.com

This is the answer to your bandwidth troubles!  WebShots.com will host your picture albums or single pictures and then provide you with a link to insert into your web page, blog, or message board.
There is no size limit on the pictures, and you can store 1000 for free indefinitely.  Albums can be public or set to private for viewing by only those you invite.
Run out of room in one free account? Not a problem, sign up for another one.  This is where the National hosts their picture albums.

GeoCities

GeoCities offers 15MB of space and 3 GB/mo bandwidth.  Which means if you have alot of big pictures and many visitors, your web site will be off line alot.  But if you keep your pictures lite (under 100kb) and small (400 x 600) and around 100 or less in count, you should be all right. Or pay for more bandwidth. Your web address is www.geocities.com/your_signup_name so don't get too silly with what you sign up as.

You can choose the point-and-click PageBuilder or step-by-step PageWizards for easy web pages, upload files from your computer or customize your own HTML with File Manager. Ads in a collapsible window on the side.

BraveNet

Offers Domain Name with 5 web sites and unlimited pages.  So you can sign up as whatever and then name your Domain and your web sites what you want.  Your address would be your_domain_name.bravehost.com/website_name

You can use their templates and web site builder, their visual editor, or upload your own with FTP.  27+ Free add-ons (i.e.: guest book, visitor map, etc) but you only get 1.5GB bandwidth and 50MB of space for everything. Ads run across the top of the page.

Heliohost

150MB web space + 1.5GB bandwidth. Basic text editor, FTP uploading. Not for Newbies.

Google ads across the top of page or 25 posts to their bulletin board/month.  Other things can be "earned" for additional posts.

Freeservers.com
You get 50MB of space, 1 GB of bandwidth/month, a 250KB each file size limit and a "Easy-to-Use" Site Builder. Never used this site, but it warns that if you want to get rid of the banners and popups you must upgrade.
TheFreeSite.com
A list of Free Web Site Hosting services.  Check out some for yourself.  Not all on list are totally free. Some are limited time only and others are free web site with domain registration.  Be careful and read the fine print before you sign up!
Color Cop
Color Cop is simple to use FREE software for matching colors from a picture or any piece of color on your screen.  Use the eyedropper to pickup the color you want and Color Cop will tell you the 5 digit number needed to reproduce that color.
Irfanview
Irfanview is simple to use FREE image editing software which enables the user to perform simple edits such as re-sizing, cropping, rotating and adding text.
