Commander's Message:
March
2007
In early April 2006, "A" Company conducted its first general membership meeting. Many topics were discussed. However, the main topic at hand that day was simply a gross lack of shows/events in Michigan.
Next month will be the one year anniversary of that first meeting and I am happy to report we have accomplished our primary goal. We no longer must travel out of state to attend HMV events. We have in "A" Company's area of operation five (5) events scheduled between May and September. For a change, HMV owners from other states will be traveling to our events.
For those of you who worked to achieve our goals, congratulations. For those of you who stood back and watched, it is never too late to become involved.
March 2007 is election month in which your new Company Commander will be elected. Your ballot is enclosed in your "A" Company newsletter as well as a bio on each candidate. Please take the time to vote.
Regards,
John T. Cole
"A" Company Commander

"A" Company Updates
1. All members of "A" Company must be members in good standing of the Great Lakes MVPA. If you are not a Great Lakes MVPA member or your membership has lapsed, please note that there is a membership form available for download on our DOWNLOADS page.
Although membership in the National MVPA is not mandatory, it is highly suggested. If you are not a National MVPA member and wish to be, please contact me and I'll send you a membership application.
2. In order for you to participate in a GLMVPA sanctioned show/event, you must be a member in good standing of GLMVPA. Please bring your GLMVPA membership card to all events.
3. If you are not a GLMVPA member and wish to participate in a GLMVPA sanctioned event/show, you can become a member the day of the show/event by contacting the contact person for that event. They all carry registration forms. Fill out the form and pay the dues and you are a member. It's as simple as that.
4. We need volunteers to work at our Wolcott Mills event. You will not be required to work long shifts. We simply need people to do specific jobs at specific times. Please contact John Cole at (248) 854-5511
5. Members who were Military MP/Shore Patrol or are MP/Shore Patrol re-enactors, please call John Cole at (248) 854-5511
