June 1-3 MICHIGAN ANTIQUES FESTIVAL:
Midland Co. Fairgrounds; Midland, Michigan
GLMVPA and the MMMT invite you to join them at the Midland County Fairgrounds for three days of 'garage sale' bliss. Home of one of the largest swap meets in Michigan, the Antiques Festival has anything you could possibly want, and a 'kick butt' Military display to boot! Oh yeah, there's also an antique/classic/custom car show going on.
Vehicle display will setup on Friday afternoon. There is primitive camping on the grounds with toilets and showers available. Motels nearby for those less 'rustically' inclined. Traditional fair-type food, 4H cafeteria, and other concessions on site. Several excellent restaurants just outside the gate. Members are welcome to bring their own items for the swap meet, but will have to make their own arrangements for selling space. No personal sales are allowed at the MV display space (except for T-shirts and other fundraising items)

July 7-8 -- 1st Annual Camp Grayling Airshow,
Grayling Army Airfield, Grayling, Michigan

They advertise the show as "Stunt Planes, Breath-taking aerial acrobatics, Vintage Aircraft, Military Aircraft, Food, Fun, and Excitement for the whole family."
The Grayling Army Airfield, on the North Edge of the city, is an excellent location for a military vehicle display. Details are being worked out, but there should be primitive camping on site for those bringing displays, motels and restaurants are nearby.
The organizers are promoting food concessions, and the possibility of rides in aircraft for sponsors of the event.
While this event is in direct conflict with the "Thunder Over Michigan" show at Willow Run, we expect to draw participants and vehicles from the local area.
The Organizer's website is CampGraylingAirShow or call (616) 361-ARMY.
