| ARTICLE XII � Procedures Conflict Resolution: The GCC values and encourages the injection of new perspectives. The GCC recognizes that in collaborative decision-making, areas of conflict and disagreement may arise. The GCC believes that who is right or wrong is not of concern. The exchange of perspectives and points of view, not the selling of them, is the issue. Therefore, the GCC shall address areas of conflict and disagreement in the following manner. 1. Exploring impasses. 2. Identifying the areas of agreement 3. Clarifying the points of disagreement 4. Exploring the Facts: What is the data and what does it tell us? 5. Exploring the Methods: How shall we do what we need to do? 6. Reviewing Goals: What is our objective? 7. What do we, as the GCC, believe in? 8. Weighted poll When areas of conflict or disagreement cannot be resolved or impede the process within the GCC, a vote will be taken according to Article VII. |
