Background: So the place I go to download movies always has movies to bootlegged usually before they are even at the theaters, I don't know how they do it, but I love it. Anyways, at the latest they will have it the night of or the day after a movie releases country wide. Well, Jackass didn't show up til like a week after it was out at the theaters and it was like the world was ending on this site. Everyone was so pissed off that it wasn't out yet, me included. Well I finally download it and the damn thing doesn't work for whatever reason(damn free pirated movies!!!). So the anticipation for this movie keeps building and building.... My rommate finally gets it downloaded and i finally get to watch it last Friday.
Review: I was expecting so much from this movie and to a point some of it was really hilarious stuff. However some of the shit they do isn't funny at all just either disgusting or painful. For example, at one point knoxville decides to get paper cuts in the webbings of his feet and in between his fingers. How are paper cuts funny? I know, they aren't just painful, its was gruesome to watch. But when the stunts do work the shit is right on drop dead hilarity(heh, theres a movie reviewer word). I am not going to ruin the best parts but trust me you will be crying from laughing so hard. That is if you find snorting wasabi and getting tattoos in hummers on bumpy roads funny , which I do. In retrospect, how much could've I expected from a movie called Jackass? I guess I got just what I wanted. |
