Little Miss is a very attractive, very large first freshening two year old who is long bodied and level over the topline. She shows exceptional strength in body capacity, starting in her powerful, wide-set chest floor and extending into her deep barrel. We are also pleased with her rump, which is wide and flat.
Little Miss's udder is very pleasing - but unfortunately, she is unbalanced. We would hope that she will come back from this in her second freshening in April, 2005.
Having said that, everything else about her udder is so right! She shows excellent teat size and delineation, and they are placed well under her. Her rear udder is VERY wide - and could be even more so without being unbalanced - and globular in shape. Her foreudder is definately her strongest feature, being long, smoothly blended and full.
We were very happy with her classification score- VG89 with an VG86 mammary! Little Miss's littermate brother, Braveheart Lord Graydon, a herdsire owned by Zoe Thorbergson of Thorcrest Nubians also scored VG89 overall this year in classification!
